Language points
1. I went into the final exam with great confidence. 我满怀信心地参加了期末考试。
confidence作名词，意为“信心；信任”。其形容词为confident。have confidence in ... = be confident in/of/about ... 意为“对……有信心”。
I have confidence in his ability to succeed. 我对他能够成功有信心。
I am confident of success. 我对成功有信心。

As the year draws to a close, it is the perfect time to think about the changes we want to make in the coming new year. We can improve our lives by learning something new, forming good habits, working harder at something, or even improving our relationships with others. I hope to make next year better than this one, so I am going to make three resolutions.

The first one is about taking up a new hobby. I am going to join the school music club to improve my singing! I think singing is a great activity. And my friends and family all love my singing.

Last but not least, my English isn’t good enough, so I am going to study for two more hours each weekend. It might be hard, but I am going to get a lot better at English!

(2) 意为“表格”。

First, I am going to form better living habits. I am going to eat more healthily. Also, I am going to throw away the bad habit of staying up late.
Second, I am also going to improve my writing skills. In the last exam, I got bad grades because of my writing. So I’m going to practising my writing every day. Besides, I’m going to join the writing club to improve my writing.

My most important New Year’s resolution last year was to lose weight. I kept it by running and eating more vegetables.
At the beginning of this year, I make two resolutions. The first one is about my physical health. I’m going to exercise more and eat less junk food. After all, health comes first. The second one is about my studies. I want to get better grades, so I’m going to study harder. Taking more exercise and asking for teachers’ help are also good ways for me to make progress.
Although it’s difficult to keep the resolutions, I will try my best to do it.
