shelf 名词，意为“架子”，其复数形式为shelves。
在英语中，以字母f或fe 结尾的可数名词，其复数形式通常是先将f或fe改为v，再加-es。如：leaf—leaves；wolf—wolves；knife—knives；wife—wives；life—lives；thief—thieves。
记忆口诀
巧记以f/fe 结尾的名词变复数：
妻子（wife）持刀（knife）去宰狼（wolf），

躲在架后（shelf）保己命（life），
