2.Understanding ideas（阅读课） -The first lesson （记叙文） 介绍了Wang Han第一节英语课的经历。 初中学习方法需要改变，在体验中学习，善于总结恰当的学习方法和策略，要勤学善思。
3.Understanding ideas（语法课） --Activity 7 （日记） 日记记叙了作者在英语课堂上的紧张表现，老师用幽默化解尴尬的经历。 积极体验学习过程，感受师生关系变化，融入新环境。

5.Developing ideas --Before your journey starts （对话+书信） 父母和女儿的对话，以及父母写给刚刚步入初中学校女儿的一封信，提出希望和建议。 积极迎接新的开始，开启有意义的初中生活。
6.Presenting ideas (实践活动课) --My first week at junior high （海报） 学生通过小组合作，搜集并整理组内成员在初中生活第一周的4方面内容studies，activities，problems+solutions and feelings.并根据评价量表进行班级展示和解说。 总结初中生涯的三大法宝：勤学善思、合理规划、刻苦努力。
