5. Read the sentences from the reading passage and summarise the grammar rules.
(a) I looked up at Ms Chen. My eyes met hers.
pronoun(代词). “我”，是主格，作主语。
pronoun “我的”，形容词性物主代词，后面常跟名词。
pronoun “她的”，名词性物主代词，等同于形容词性物主代词+名词；在这里 hers = her eyes。

（1）人称代词主格：做主语，是动作的发出者，表示谁是干什么的，谁怎么样等。
（2）人称代词宾格：
做宾语，表示动作行为的对象，常位于动词和介词之后；
做表语，位于系动词（主要是be动词）之后。
例如： I am a teacher.
You are students.
He is kind.
We are learning English.
例如： Give it to me.
Please help them.
Mr Wang teaches us English.
Look at him.

2.物主代词表示所有关系的代词，也可以叫做代词所有格。表示某人或某物属于某一个人。如：“我的”、“你的”、“他的”、“她的”、“它的”、“我们的”、“你们的”、“他们的”。物主代词分形容词性物主代词和名词性物主代词。如下表：

（1）形容词性物主代词：在句中用定语，修饰名词，表示所属关系。不能单独使用，后面必须接名词。
（2）名词性物主代词：具有名词的特征，在句中可以用作主语、宾语或者表语，不能作定语，且后面不能接名词。他们可以独立使用，相当于形容词性物主代词加名词。
例如：This is your bag, but where is mine
My pen is red. Yours is blue.
Your school is big, but his is bigger.
My bike is broken. May I use yours

One possible vision:
My first lesson at junior high was English. Ms Wang was our English teacher and head teacher.
She asked us to see a short video about parents’ work. They worked so hard. They looked very tired. But the parents still cooked for their children and helped them. Ms Wang told us that we should thank our parents and understand them. We should also work hard to have a bright future and also helped our parents one day.
It’s important to work hard and understand our parents. That’s really a good lesson.
