As everyone knows , many wild animals are endangered because of human activities and other reasons. One of the endangered animals is whales.

Whales are sea animals. They live in the sea. They eat small fish and other sea animals. They can do many things and they are very interesting. One interesting fact is that whales look like fish but they are very different from fish. In fact , they breathe like humans. They must get out of the water to take in air and some kinds have teeth. Another interesting fact is that they communicate with each other in their special way—“whale songs”. That’s amazing.
However, now some kinds of whales are in danger. As far as I know, there are two main reasons. First, there is more and more water pollution. Second, people catch whales for meat, fat and oil.
So, it’s time for us to protect whales from being killed. As middle school students, what can we do First, we should learn more about whales. Besides, it’s important to let more people know the rules on whale protection. What’s more, we should call on people not to put rubbish into the sea. I hope that whales can be out of danger in the near future.
