Kong Rong Gives Up the Big Pear
Kong Rong was a good boy in ancient China. One day, his father bought some pears. He asked Kong Rong and his brothers to take pears.
The pears were of different sizes. Kong Rong’s brothers picked big ones first. But Kong Rong chose the smallest pear. His father was surprised and asked, “Why do you take the smallest one ”

会把状语和谓语全部放在主语前面。例如:

例如:

I hope everything is okay. 我希望一切顺利。

nor用于否定陈述后添加另一个否定陈述,意为“也不”。Nor summer是省略句,完整的结构应该是nor does summer come

扩展:so+many/much/few/little+名词+that从句:当名词前有many、much、(a) few、(a) little等词修饰时,要用“so...that...”。
例如,He has so much money that he can buy what he wanted.(他有如此多的钱以至于他能买他想要的东西。)

含有 since 或 for 的现在完成时
since 其后接过去某一“时间点”“时间段+ago”或从句(一般过去时),表示动作或状态从过去的某个时间点开始 since+过去某一时间点
①两者均可用于完成时态;在陈述句中,与其搭配的动词必须是延续性动词
②“since+过去某一时间点”可以和“for+一段时间”进行转换
③对 since/for 构成的表示时间段的短语或句子提问应用 how long
since+一段时间+ago since+从句(一般过去时) It is/has been+时间段+since +一般过去时的句子 for 其后接表示“一段时间”的名词短语 for+一段时间
