Hi, everyone. I am very happy to share some memories about my home with you.
Last Sunday, my grandma celebrated her 80th birthday. All of my family got together to celebrate it. My father bought a big cake for her. My mother prepared a bowl of noodles for my grandma. It means long life in Chinese culture. I couldn’t wait to show a book with several pictures of our family to my grandma.
After all people’s arrival, we began to enjoy the cake and dishes. My grandma was too happy to describe her joy in words. She said our family was a treasure to her.
Family brings happiness to us. No matter where we are, home is where the heart is. It is always the place full of love and happiness.

Family Memories
In our English class, we had a discussion about what we could do to make home a happier place. We’ve shared different ideas.
Some say it’s a good idea to spend more time with family. They believe family members should share happiness and worries. When they meet problems, family members can do something to cheer them up. Home is always the first place for them to get help and support. Others think it’s necessary to remember family’s birthdays and prepare small presents.
In my opinion, showing love for family is really important. Sometimes, even the smallest thing like walking with family makes them happier.
