Because of the great pressure we have nowadays, friends play an increasingly important role(扮演.....角色)in our life. Fortunately (幸运地), I have a friend called Mary who keeps company with (陪伴) me.
Mary and I have much in common(有很多相同点). We are of the same height and we are both interested in playing volleyball. With her help, I make great progress (取得很大进步)and play volleyball better and better. In some ways we are quite similar to each other or even the same.We both like singing and dancing, she dances as well as me .We a both interested in reading,we usually go to the library together and share our books to read. However we are different in some ways .she taller but I am thinner, she is a lot more hardworking than me in subjects, so she always gets better grades and also helps me with my study. As for sports , she is good at swimming while I prefer playing tennis.
