教学目标
通过本课时的学习,学生能够: 1.在读、听活动中,获取和梳理赵元任学习语言的方法、Lily学习英语的经验等关键信息,并将Kitty的学习计划补充完整; 2.在同伴对话活动中运用相关表达谈论学习英语时遇到的问题并给对方提供建议; 3.在写作活动中综合运用本单元词汇知识与表达和语篇结构知识与表达,撰写一篇文章,介绍自己在学习英语时遇到的问题以及解决方法,积极探索有效的学习方法,养成乐学善思的良好习惯。
教学内容
1.教学重点: 指导学生归纳赵元任学习语言的方法,并展开讨论;依托Lily介绍英语学习经验的音频,指导学生获取关键信息,完成正误判断和信息填空,并帮助Kitty完成英语学习计划;呈现两名学生谈论自己在英语学习过程中遇到的问题的对话语篇,组织学生就相同话题展开讨论。 2.教学难点: 以Millie为《青少年》杂志撰写的文章为范例,指导学生根据调查问卷结果撰写一篇文章,介绍自己在英语学习过程中遇到的问题以及解决问题的方法。
教学过程
Step 1 Reading View and answer Who is the man in the picture What is the article about Read and complete Fill in the blanks based on the article and the mind map. Think and answer What do you think is the right way to learn a new language (设计意图:训练“读”和“看”的技能,引导学生归纳赵元任学习语言的方法,并展开讨论,结合自身实际谈学习语言的正确方法,有效巩固所学的同时,衔接听力部分。) Step 2 Listening Listen and judge Listen and tell “T” or “F”. Correct the false part based on the script. Conclude the ways to learn English. Listen and complete Look through the questions to get ready for the listening. Listen and fill in the blanks. Find out more ways to learn English. Summarize and complete Summarize the useful ways to learn English according to B1 and B2. (设计意图:训练“听”的技能,引导学生在完成相关练习的同时,深入文本,梳理学习 英语的有效方式方法,为后续的“说”做好铺垫。) Step 3 Speaking Listen and answer What problem does Amy have What’s Millie’s advice Read and learn Read the dialogue and learn about useful expressions. Think and talk Work in pairs and talk about what problem you have in learning English and what plan you have to improve English, based on the structure and expressions. (设计意图:训练“说”的技能,从梳理到分析再到生成,引导学生就“如何学习英语” 为话题进行语言的输出,提升学生的逻辑表达能力与实际沟通素养。) Step 4 Writing Think and answer If you want to write an article about your learning experience, what should it include View and find out What learning problems are mentioned in the survey What was Millie’s problem And how did she deal with it Think and answer How can Millie form an article according to the information Read and find out Content: When and where did Millie meet with the problem Who couldn’t understand her What’s the result Structure: How many parts are there in Millie’s article And what are they Expression: Find as many useful expressions as possible. Analyze and conclude What makes a good article (A focused topic, a clear structure, detailed content, rich expressions and accuracy. ) Review and write Make a survey about the problem you have in learning English and how you overcome it. Write an article based on the result of the survey. Write and share Check your drafts. Exchange them with your partners for review. Learn from a sample. And revise your own. (设计意图:训练“写”的技能,通过层层递进的环节设置,从学习文本到分析文本到模 仿文本,紧扣“如何学习英语”话题,结合自身在学习英语过程的“困惑、思考、行动 和收获”,写一篇文章,实现知识的迁移。) Step 5 Homework 1. Must do: Polish your article and share it with classmates. Review the whole unit and finish exercises on the workbook. 2.Choose to do: Collect more ideas about what you can to improve your learning. (设计意图:借助评价要点,引导学生进一步完善修改创作的文本。设置复习练习,巩固 单元知识。设置选做的拓展任务,实现知识的延伸。
