(1)could 为 can 的过去式,表示能力。
eg: He could ride a bike at the age of five.
他五岁时就会骑自行车了。
(2)表示可能性,指对过去、现在或将来的某种可能的推测。

(3)表示建议。

Think about one setting in your daily life, then make a conversation using can or could,
1. Can I stay out until eleven 我可以在外面待到十一点吗?
(1)(介词)到……时;直到……为止后接具体的时间。
eg: She worked until 10 p.m. yesterday. 昨天她一直工作到晚上 10点。
(2)(连词)到……时;直到……为止 常用于引导时间状语从句。
eg: I waited until they finished talking. 我一直等到他们谈完为止。
He didn’t come out until the meeting was over.

clean up 清扫,是“动词+副词”型短语,当人称代词作宾语时,需要放在clean与up之间。

until prep.到......时;直到......为止
not...until... “直到......才......”,常与非延续性动词连用,表示动作
直到until所表示的时间才发生。
