How I improved my writing
Two months ago, my English teacher asked us to write an article about a wonderful day in the summer holiday. I had many ideas, but I didn’t know how to put them into words. My sentences were short and full of mistakes. I then decided to make a plan to improve my writing skills.
I started my plan soon. First, I started reading more English books and articles to learn from good writers. I also spent 15 minutes keeping a diary in English every day. What’s more, I asked my English teacher for advice on correcting my writing mistakes. After two months, my writing became much better.
Practice and patience are the keys to success. I still follow this plan, and now I feel more confident in my writing. I even write short articles for my school newspaper in my free time. It is still hard to express everything in English very well, but I will keep working hard.
