教学目标 学生能理解故事意思并复述故事内容，突破故事中的生难词汇，学会使用英文口语常用表达。（语言能力） 2.深化学生对天气和地域这一主题的理解和认知，有利于树立学生“人与自然和谐相处”的文化意识。（文化意识） 3.通过故事创设的情境，提升学生们对大自然的认知度，让学生们切身理解天气的地域差异，让学生们形成“爱护自然”的观念。（思维品质） 4.锻炼学生理解英语语篇主题和提炼故事中心思想的能力，提高学 生总结和复述的能力。（学习能力）
教学重点 理解及复述故事内容；突破故事中的生难词汇；反思故事中出现的现象，领悟故事传达的主旨。
教学难点 单词taste，real，surprise的读音和表达；理解不同地方天气差异的现象和原因。
教学过程 批注
Step 1 Review&Lead in 通过复习第一课时的主题词汇、 重点句型和故事， 引领学生快速进入单元主题情境，提升学生的参与度和积极性。 且设置了多种题型，从多方面考核学生们对知识点的掌握程度， 教师可根据学生的情况调整后续的教授方向。 故事主角的介绍，让学生们更能进入故事情境，另一方面也提高了学生们对故事的期待度。
Review Look and say out the words PPT出现多个天气情况简图，学生们看到图片说出对应的天气情 况单词。 T: Let’s review some words we have learned. Look at the pictures and say out the words. Spell and make right order 课件呈现多个词序混乱的单词，学生观察所给字母，需拼读出正确的单词。 T: Challenge more. I’ll give you some “words”, you should spell and make them into right order. No. 1 ... S1: Sunny! S-u-n-n-y. 较难的单词，教师可适当地进行引导和提示。 Group work: Ask and answer 课件呈现关键句型“-What’s the weather like -It’s ...”，学生们根 据图片造句。 Complete and act 课件呈现第1课时Start up Part 1的文本，部分内容已挖空（P5-6）。 学生需补充完整故事内容，并分组进行表演。 T: Do you remember the story Please complete and act it out with your group. Lead in（课前引入） Introduce the roles 课件呈现故事Picture 1&2，介绍图片中的主要人物，再衔接到故事内容。 T: Look, can you guess what they are doing （P7） Ss: 上课。 T: Yes, they are having a class. And look at this woman, her name is Liu Fei. Read after me. ... She is a teacher at a children’s home in Sanya. 她是三亚儿童之家的一名教师。 教师讲解单词teacher的意思，并带读进行操练。其次，介绍三亚这个地方（可参考教案中的consolidation）。教师板书：teacher，Liu Fei (in Sanya)。 接下来介绍她的好朋友以及所处的城市哈尔滨（P8）。 T: Liu Fei calls her friend. This is her friend, Lin Jia. Read after me. ... And she is in Harbin. 教师板书：friend，Lin Jia (in Harbin)
Step 2 Presentation&Practice 此环节直接呈现故事图片， 学生们更加直观且印象深刻， 也引起了学生们对故事的好奇心。 提出设问并结合故事内容， 可以使学生更加深入了解故事， 体会故事情境。 让学生们对故事展开讨论，说出自己的感受和受到的启发。提高学生表达的欲望并锻炼学生总结的能力。 讲练结合，先讲解故事内容及知识点，再让学生练习读音，并且模仿表演，让教学不再局限于“教师讲，学生听”的模式。 模仿表演更突出了课堂全方位的立体教学活动。
Presentation. 将故事分为两部分进行教学（Picture 1&2以及Picture 3, 4&5） T: Today we will know the story A special snowy day. 教师板书故事名字：A special snowy day Speed up Learn some details.（故事学习） Picture 1 & 2 （1）Listen, read and tick. 首先针对图片1、2的故事情节，提出三个疑问，让学生们听音 频，了解故事内容并选出答案，教师可选择学生分享并核对答案。 Q1: What’s the weather like in Sanya A1: Hot. Q2: What’s the weather like in Harbin A2: Cold and snowy. Q3: What do the children want to see A3: Snow. （2）Read and learn.（P10-12） 课件呈现Speed up picture 1&2及故事文本。教师讲解文本，并教 授生难单词（taste, ice cream, real），可适当进行操练。播放音 频，让学生跟读，熟悉故事内容。教师可选学生扮演或者复述故 事内容。期间，教师可讲解三亚和哈尔滨天气不同的现状和原因。 （可参考教案中的consolidation） Picture 3, 4 & 5 （1）Listen, read and answer. 课件呈现两个问题，教师带领学生们理解问题和理清答题思路， 然后让学生们听录音寻找答案。 Q1: What does Liu Fei get A1: A big surprise—some snow. Q2: Do the children love their snowy day A2: Yes, they do. （2）Read and learn.（P14-16） 课件呈现Speed up picture 3，4 & 5及故事文本。教师讲解文本 并教授生难单词（surprise, later）。播放音频，让学生跟读，再次 熟悉故事内容。教师可选学生扮演或者复述故事内容。 Free talk 教师询问学生能从故事中学习到什么，有什么感悟。根据学生们 的回答，教师进行总结并进行情感教育。 情感教育：1. Different places/cities have different weather. 2. Be curious about the unknown. Practice. Read and answer. （P18-22） 呈现Speed up的情景图片，教师播放音频，学生进行跟读。个别 读音难的单词，老师可单独再次进行带读操练。 Watch and follow.（P23） 播放Speed up动画视频，学生观看视频并跟读句子。学生再次熟 悉故事和文本。 Look and say.（P24） 呈现一些中文或英文（皆为Speed up中的生词），学生需要读出 英文单词。 T: I’ll show you some words. If you see English, please read it aloud and say the meaning. If you see Chinese, please say English words. Read again and write T(True) or F(False).（P28） 课件呈现Start up Part 2的内容，让学生们再次读故事完成题目。 教师选择学生分享答案，并核对答案。 Read and write.（P29） 课件呈现Start up Part 3的内容，让学生们独自完成习题。教师选 择多名学生阅读文本分享答案。教师核对答案，并根据学生们的 完成情况，查阅补漏，再次熟悉故事文本。
Step 3 Consolidation&Extension 设计两个操练活动， 让学生在愉快且富有有故事情境的情况下复述故事内容， 锻炼口语学生的表达能力和表演能力。 对于城市、 地域差异和气候进行拓展， 提升学生们对大自然的理解度和认知度， 让学生们切身了解天气的地域差异。
Consolidation. Complete and role play.（P25-26） 课件中呈现Speed up的文本，部分重点单词、词组或句子已被挖 空。学生们需要将文本补充完整。根据学生们的完成情况、熟练 程度等评出表现的最好的学生或小组，对此给予奖励/表扬。 T: Now let’s try to complete the story. Here you should practice with your group. And I’ll choose some to show. Act it out.（P27） 教师将学生们分为多个小组，让学生们选择故事部分段落进行演 练。教师选择部分小组上台表演，根据小组表现进行评分，选出 最佳表演小组。 T: Please practise with your group. Extension. 关于三亚： 三亚（Sanya）位于海南岛的最南端，是中国最南部的热带滨海旅 游城市，中国海滨城市，中国空气质量最好的城市、全国最长寿 地区（平均寿命80岁）。 关于哈尔滨： 哈尔滨市（Harbin），别称冰城，地处中国东北地区、东北亚中心地带，是中国东北地区北部政治、经济、文化中心，被誉为欧亚大陆桥的明珠，是第一条欧亚大陆桥和空中走廊的国际性综合交通枢纽。 哈尔滨是全国文明城市、国际湿地城市、东亚文化之都和中国十 佳冰雪旅游城市，被联合国授予“音乐之城”称号。 三亚和哈尔滨的气候差异的原因： 三亚位于中国海南省的南部，为热带海洋性季风气候。这种气候 类型的特征是全年温暖湿润，冬季平均气温在25℃左右，夏季 则更高。三亚的气候受到海洋的调节作用，因此温差较小，降水 充沛，全年都有可能受到台风的影响。 而哈尔滨地处东北亚中心地带，属于中温带大陆性季风气候，冬 季漫长而寒冷，夏季短暂而炎热，春秋两季为过渡季节。这种气 候类型的特点是四季分明，冬季1月平均气温约为零下19度，夏 季7月的平均气温约为23度。哈尔滨的年降水量约为569.1毫米， 其中夏季降水量占全年的60%，主要集中在6-9月。
Step 4 Summary&Homework
1.小结： Story: A special snowy day 在总结时，教师可以先让学生复述故事内容，再让学生表达读完 故事的想法和受到的启发。 2.作业： 听录音，熟读故事A special snowy day，并向家人复述故事 内容； 针对故事内容，聊一聊你学到了什么或者你的看法。
