教学目标 会认、听、读、写描述天气情况的词汇,突破故事和歌曲中的生难单词及词组;能掌握并使用句型“—What’s the weather like —It’s ...”询问和描述天气情况。(语言能力) 2.通过询问和描述天气情况,帮助学生感受自然,提高学生尊重自然、爱护环境的意识。(文化意识) 3.增强学生对自然的认知感和重要性,让学生们学会观察和认识世界,建立学生们“人与自然”和谐相处的思维。(思维品质) 4.锻炼学生在日常情境中的口语表达能力,增强学生自信心;让学 生学以致用,在现实生活中活学活用,熟练地谈论天气。(学 习能力)
教学重点 能熟练掌握句型“What’s the weather like ”询问天气情况;能够熟练运用句型“It’s ...”描述天气;理解和复述Start up故事内容。
教学难点 单词“weather/rainy/diary”的发音;理解名词到形容词的转换;能够独立的输出对话及故事内容。

Step 1 Warm-up&Lead in 使用同主题歌曲做warm up,既可以迅速破冰, 也可以营造热闹、良好的学习氛围,提高学生的参与度和积极度。 而通过歌曲引入到今日教学主题,衔接流畅,且情境自然。
Warm up Listen and follow 教师播放歌曲What’s the weather like today 的动画视频,在此环节时教师在教室内巡回走动,并引导学生看视频跟唱。 T: I have a video for you. Let’s watch and try to follow. Lead in 教师询问学生们歌曲的内容,引出今日所学单元主题weather,带 读教授单词weather,并且通过图示引导学生们理解其意思。教师 板书:weather。 T: What a great song! What’s the song about Boys and girls. Ss: ... T: Yes, the song is about weather. Read after me ... And pay attention to “ther”. We know mother and father. So “ther” is / /. Read one more time. Look at the picture, what’s the meaning of weather Ss: 天气。 T: Super! Today let’s learn more about weather.
Step 2 Presentation&Practice 展示不同的天气情况,让学生们切身体会天气与自然,强调了教学主题,加强了学生的理解和记忆。 设计多个单词操练游戏,加强学生们对词汇读音、意思的记忆。 且由简入难,层层递进,让学生们慢慢掌握词汇。形成螺旋式上升的学习方式。 详细讲解名词到形容词的变换规律,让学生们感受英语学科的魅力,体验语言学科的应用规则。 根据故事中的情景,让学生理解和学习生难词汇、语法及句子的表达和用法,加深学生们的理解。另一方面,通过讲练结合培养学生们活学活用的能力。 结合故事剧情和所学知识,让学生多次熟悉和独立输出句型,再来呈现正确的描述。 增强学生的语言自信心和表达欲望。 且对重点句型的记忆更加深刻。 操练活动包含口语、 听力和理解等多形式。从多个方面检验学生对所学知识的掌握程度, 有利于教师及时了解学生的学习情况,调整之后的教学重点。其次,也锻炼学生们独自完成练习的能力。
Presentation Get ready Learn new words.(单词学习) (1)课件中呈现不同的场景(天气情况),教师带领学生们学习相应的描述天气的词汇。(P4-8) T: Look! What’s the weather like Ss: ... T: Yes. It’s sunny(cloudy/windy/rainy/snowy/cold) now. 教师呈现单词并播放音频,学生跟读。其次,教师引导学生们通过场景图示理解单词意思,并进行单词操练(操练游戏:开火车、大小声、男女声等)。教师板书单词:sunny,cloudy,windy,rainy,snowy,cold。(教授后两个单词时,可以让学生们尝试输出完整的句子“It’s ...”) (2)Look and read. 课件呈现所学的不同天气情况图片,学生们针对图片说出相应单词,教师再带读。针对不熟的单词,可再次进行单独操练。 T: Now look at the pictures, please tell me the words one by one. Ss: Weather, sunny, cloudy ... T: Good job, kids. Now read after me. Practise the words.(单词操练)(P10-11) Look and say. 课件呈现天气图片,学生们需说出单词,正确 并快速的学生可得到奖励/积分。 T: This is the weather report. Please look at the pictures and say the words. If you are right and first one, you can get the prize/point. Read it louder. 课件依次呈现单词,学生们看到单词,需大 声读出,并说出中文释义。之后,单词会一一消失,学生们需说 出消失的单词。 T: OK. Now try to sing a song about weather! 歌曲分两段进行教授,先播放音频,让学生们尝试跟唱。再讲解 并教授生难单词。熟悉生难单词后,教师再来完整教授歌曲,让 学生跟唱练习。然后请同学们上讲台展示(P15)。 (2)整合生难单词中的名词(sun,cloud,wind,rain,snow)。 学生认读并学习单词,教师导入相对应的形容词(sunny,cloudy, windy,rainy,snowy),让学生们观察名词和对应的形容词,并 总结变换规律。 T: Look! Start up Read and answer.(故事教学) PPT展示Start up Part 1的情景图片(P24)。 T: Look at the picture. Who are they Ss: Amy and Sam. T: Yes, Amy and Sam want to go out to play! What’s the weather like now Ss: It’s sunny/hot. 教师分图片进行教授,过程中教师可通过提问引导学生理解和加 深对文本的印象。 (1)Picture 1: T: They want to go outside. So they talk about weather. Let’s check ... 教师进行本页的教学和带读操练。本页重点为天气情况的描述。 (3)Picture 3: T: How about now Ss: It’s rainy. 教师进行本页的教学和带读操练。询问学生下雨时需要的服装或 者雨具。逐个展示雨具和相应服饰的英文单词,并适当进行教授 (会读,了解即可)。让学生们观察故事Picture 4-6,找出孩子 所用的“雨伞”(P29)。 (4)Picture 4: T: The girl says “Look! I’ve got a good idea.” 句子中I’ve 是I have, have got则意为有;拥有,而good idea指的是好主意。 教师进行本页的教学和带读操练。然后询问学生们这个“good idea”具体指的什么。 T: What’s her good idea Ss: 将大叶子作为雨伞。 (5)Picture 5-6: 通过提问,让学生们熟悉故事内容。 提问及选项:Are their umbrellas great Yes. Read and complete.(故事操练)(P37-38) 课件中呈现Start up的文本,部分重点单词、词组或句子已被挖空。 学生们需要将文本补充完整。根据学生们的完成情况、熟练程度 等评出表现的最好的学生或组别,对此给予奖励/表扬。 3. Role-play.(P39) 学生分组并分角色扮演故事中的角色。练习后教师选择个别小组进行展示。根据发音、流利度和表演情况进行评分。评选出角色扮演最佳小组。
