Project)语篇研读What: 该语篇围绕“学生们在敬老院进行志愿活动”展开。陈杰向Mr Jones展示手机上的照片,告诉他自己和同学们在敬老院所做的事情。 Why: 该语篇旨在引导学生学会用现在进行时描述自己或他人正在进行的活动,并通过社区服务 的情境,培养学生的社会责任感,感悟帮助他人和参与社区服务的乐趣。 How: 语篇涉及有关志愿活动的词汇making the bed,singing old songs,telling a funny story, cleaning the room;涉及描述正在进行某活动的句型“I’m making the bed.”“He is singing old songs.”“They are cleaning the room.”等。该语篇语言简单,且贴近学生生活。教学重点及难点教学重点:能够听、说、认读词汇:making the bed,singing old songs,telling a funny story,cleaning the room;能够运用现在进行时描述正在进行的事情/活动。 教学难点:能够掌握动词-ing的变化规则;能够在真实或模拟的情景中灵活运用所学词汇和句型描述 正在进行的活动。教学过程教学目标 学习活动 效果评价学生能够在看、听、 读、说的活动中掌握和 社区志愿活动相关的 词汇。 能够掌握并运用现在 进行时描述自己或他人正在进行的活动。(学习理解) Step 1 Revision Complete and say. 课件中呈现已挖空的B Let’s talk文本,学生根据上节课所学的 内容补全文本内容并独立输出。教师可将学生分为小组多次进 行活动。 T: Students are at the old people’s home. Look and talk. 课件呈现B Look and say部分图片,教师提问 “ What are the students doing for their community ”,考核学生掌握所学知识情 况,学生则运用现在进行时来描述图中人物正在进行的志愿活 动。 句型参考:Look! The students are ... in an ... Some students are ... Choose and say. 以电视机的形式展示多个活动,学生需要用现在进行时“... be doing ...”来描述电视机中学生正在进行的事情。 T: There are some TVs. Please choose one and use the sentence “... be doing ...” to describe. Who can you see in the pictures Ss: Chen Jie, Zhang Peng, Wu Binbin, Mike and some old people. 教师聆听学生使用现在进行时介绍人物活动的情况。如有错误,及时给予纠正和帮助;而对于表现优良的学生,及时给予表扬。 教师鼓励学生积极回答问题,引导学生积极参与到课堂活动中。T: Yes! Look and complete the sentences. 将B Let’s learn部分的文本适当挖空(挖空内容由单词过渡到短 句,再到完整的句子,难度依次递增),学生根据图片和所学 知识点来补充完成句子。完成句子并输出后,教师可选择学生 作小老师,来讲解现在进行时的知识点,带领学生一起复习现 在进行时。 完整呈现四幅图片及对应的句子,播放音频,学生跟读。可让 学生模仿图片动作,并完整独立输出句子。 T: Look at the photos and complete the sentences. Project. Lead in: Free talk. 教师提出问题“Do you know your school helpers ”,说明单词 “helper”的意思,学生思考、回答并进行讨论,然后呈现出 学校中常见的五名“helper”,带领学生说出其英文表达。从 而引出C Project内容。 活动一:The children are talking about jobs. Listen, tick and match. 教师带领学生理解题目意思,预习题目上的职业类图片并复习 题目中的职业类词汇。随后播放听力音频,学生独立完成。选 择学生呈现完成的答案,再次播放音频,带领学生核对答案。 活动二:These four people do important jobs. Read and choose. 教师先选择学生朗读选项,再给予时间学生自行完成,选择学 生核对答案。 活动三:Make your poster. 教师呈现教材中此版块所给出的示例,带领学生理解句子意 思,并分析文段结构。最后让学生模仿文段,自行书写完成文 段。 活动四:Share your poster in class. 选择部分学生展示自己所写的文段,并对文段进行描述。教师 根据学生的完成情况给予表扬或奖励。 教师观察学生在活动中的表现,对活动完成出色的学生给予肯定,对某一些方面仍有待提高的学生给予中肯的建议和帮助。设计意图:本阶段学习活动旨在引导学生在教师的指导下完成相应的练习,巩固和运用所学的核心语言。从学习理解过渡到应用实践,为学生灵活运用学科知识奠定语言基础。同时让学生体会校园中不同岗位的辛劳,树立职业平等与尊重不同职业的观念。多种形式的活动可加深学生对职业的认知。自检自测可查缺补漏,进一步巩固所学知识,让本单元学习更加牢固。(迁移 创新) Step 3 Consolidation & Extension Consolidation: 仿照B Make fun sentences,教师准备多张多种类的词汇卡片, 分别包含职业类词汇、动作类词汇和地点类词汇(也可准备空白 卡片,让学生书写几张)。然后教师请三位学生分别抽取不同种 类的卡片,然后让学生造句并朗读。 Self-check. 根据要求,自测本单元的学习情况。对于不足之处课后需再多 加复习巩固。 教师观察学生的自测情况,可调整复习巩固的内容及方法。而对于出现的大多数问题,教师可再进行学习或操练。设计意图:本阶段学习活动旨在通过活动和自测,强化学生对本单元知识点的理解,加深学生对自身学习情况的了解,帮助学生形成查缺补漏的习惯,有利于巩固知识和培养良好的学习习惯。家庭作业听录音,熟练跟读B Let’s learn,并仿照所给句子编写四句话; 仿照C Project Poster画出父母的职业,并进行介绍。板书设计Unit 4 Helping in the community Let’s learn & B.
