By showing common waste - electricity scenes, it stimulates students' thinking and activates their prior knowledge related to electricity use, thus smoothly leading to the theme of saving electricity at home.
Knowledge Presentation (10 minutes) Activity: Review the modal verbs "must", "mustn't", "should", "shouldn't" with students. Write some sentences on the blackboard, such as "You must turn off the lights when you leave the room." "You mustn't play with electrical sockets." and ask students to explain the meaning and usage of these modal verbs in the context of electricity - saving rules.
