Last Saturday, Shirley and I took a walk in the park near our homes. It was so peaceful out there.
We sat on a bench and talked about our school days. Suddenly, it started raining. We ran to hide under a big tree.
Production
While waiting for the rain to stop, we noticed a colourful butterfly stuck in a puddle. It looked helpless. Shirley carefully picked it up with a leaf. She was so helpful. Her thoughtful action saved the butterfly’s life!
When the rain finally stopped, we walked home. Our shoes were wet but our hearts were warm and light. How lucky I am to have a friend like Shirley! She can turn a rainy afternoon into something wonderful.
Thank you!
