连接并列主语时,谓语动词用复数形式。

both “两者都”可与of连用,后跟可数名词复数,作主语时,谓语动词用复数形式。

②both与not连用时,表示部分否定。
要表示全部否定,要用both的反义词neither。

并列连词
(1)并列句是由并列连词把两个或两个以上的简单句连在一起构成的句子, 连词前可用逗号,也可不用逗号。
(2)常用的连词有:and:表示并列关系
but, while:表示转折关系
or, either…or…:表示选择关系
so, for:表示因果关系
