Review
音节:
发音响亮的元音是构成音节的核心。
1)有的单词如bat /b t/,let /let/,like /la k/只有一个元音音素,即只有一个音节,称为单音节词,不存在重读或轻读;
2)若存在两个或以上音节,称为双音节词和多音节词,就产生单词的重音问题。念的特别响亮的的音节就是单词重音所在。如mother / m (r)/,funny / f ni/第一个音重读;而在begin /b ɡ n/,about / ba t/中,则是第二个音重读。(双音节词重音位置与单词的构成:前缀、词性变化等有关)
