(2) advice [名词] 建议;劝告;忠告
advice 为不可数名词,表示“一条建议”用 apiece of advice;表示“两条及两条以上建议”用two/three/... pieces of advice;表示“一些建议”用 some advice.

ask sb. for advice 向某人寻求建议 follow/take one's advice 听从/采纳某人的建议give advice 提建议
② advise [动词] 建议;劝告
其后接名词、代词、动词 -ing 形式或 that 从句。
常见搭配:
advise sb.(not)to do sth. 意为“建议某人 (不要) 做某事”。
e.g. I would advise you not to tell him. 我建议你别告诉他。
4. I read the words and passages aloud every morning and I tried to speak loudly in class.
我每天早上大声朗读单词和文章,并努力在课堂上大声说话。

aloud 强调发出的声音能被人听见或大声地说、喊等,常与 read、call、cry、shout 等动词连用,无比较级和最高级。

loudly 副词 大声地;响亮地 含“喧闹”的意味,通常有令人讨厌或打扰别人的意思,可指人声、敲门声或其他各种声音
loud 形容词 响 亮 的;大 声 的;喧哗的 作表语或定语,in a loud voice 意为“大声地”
副词 大 声 地;响亮地 常与 speak、sing、laugh、talk等连用,有比较级,常与 too、very、so 等词连用,放在动词之后起修饰作用
e.g. Tom is talking with his friend in a loud voice, Sam is listening
to music, but it is too loud. The baby is crying aloud in the
bedroom, At the same time, the telephone is ringing loudly.

Explorers came to some conclusions when they explored the cave , and thought that these conclusions were worth further exploration.

We use modal verbs (should, may, can, must, etc.) to show the possibility of something, or talk about ability, give advice, and make requests.

情态动词(Modal verbs)
情态动词表示说话人对所说话语的观点和态度,可表示主观设想及其他情态意义,如需要、猜测、意愿或怀疑等。
常见的情态动词有:can、could、may、might、must、need、shall、should、will、would 等。
情态动词的语法特征:
1. 有实际意义,但在句中不能单独充当谓语。
2. 后面跟动词原形。表示否定时,在其后面加 not;表示疑问时,将它提到句首。
3. 无人称和数的变化。
should
表示征询或提建议,“应该”
表示责任或义务,“应当”
表示肯定又留有余地的猜测,“照理说;应该”
e.g. I think you should buy the white coat because it looks good on you.
我觉得你应该买那件白色的外套,因为你穿上很好看。
You should respect your parents.你应该尊重父母。
The train should arrive soon.火车应该很快就到了。
can
表示能力,“能,可以”
表示请求或允许,多用于口语“能,可以”
表示推测,意为“可能,也许,大概”,常用否定形式 can't表示“不可能”。
e.g. Sam can speak English and Japanese,萨姆会说英语和日语

The woman with short hair can't be my aunt. My aunt has long hair
那位短头发的女士不可能是我姑姑。我姑姑头发很长。
may
表示请求或许可,意为“可以,能”
表示猜测或推断,意为“可能,或许”,表示的可能性比较小。
表示祝愿,意为“但愿”,一般放在句首,句尾用感叹号。
e.g. May we go there tomorrow 我们明天去那儿可以吗
There may be some difficulties in the future.
未来也许会有一些困难。
May you have good luck!祝你好运!
must
表示必要或很重要,意为“必须”
表示肯定的推测,意为“一定”,表示的可能性最大。
“Must //we... ”的肯定回答用 must,
否定回答用needn't或don't have to.
e.g. We must finish the work on time.
我们必须要按时完成这项工作。
You must know him—he's famous around here!
你一定认识他——他在这一带很有名!
