Dear Editor,
I'm writing to express my suggestions for foreign friends on how to be a civilized tourist while enjoying our trip.
To be a civilized tourist, it is necessary for us to mind our manners. First of all, they had better respect and follow local customs. As a famous saying goes, "When in Rome, do as the Romans do." Besides, it's impolite of them to talk loudly and rudely in public places, which will certainly leave a bad impression on Chinese people. What's the most important is that the environment should be protected. Therefore, spitting, littering around, destroying tour facilities and so on are not allowed.
Only when they shoulder the responsibility of civilized tourists can they enjoy their trip and have happy memories as well.
Yours truly,
Li Hua
