资源简介 教学设计课程基本信息学科 英语 年级 八年级 学期 秋季课题 Project 1 A class booklet about best friends教学目标通过本课时的学习,学生能够: 综合运用第一模块所学知识,基于小组讨论,设计班级好朋友手册,从姓名、背景、品质、学习经历、喜欢上学的哪个方面、动手实践、奇闻趣事等方面撰文介绍自己的好朋友; 初步掌握班级好朋友手册的制作流程,基于个人探究和小组讨论等活动,优化班级好朋友手册的语言和版面设计,独立制作一页设计精美、内容丰富的好朋友手册; 借助组内汇报和组间分享活动,与他人分享自己的作品,用英文从多角度介绍自己的好朋友,展示好朋友鲜明的人物形象和朋友间的深情厚谊,表达对朋友的热爱、对友谊的理解和珍惜,交流对彼此作品的不同感受; 依据评价指标,从页面内容、页面设计、页面效果三个维度评价同伴的作品,并向同伴学习,同时总结反思,改进自己的作品。教学内容教学重点: 学生能够综合运用第一模块所学内容,从姓名、背景、品质、学习经历、喜欢上学的哪个方面、动手实践、奇闻趣事等方面介绍自己的好朋友,完成班级好朋友手册的制作。 教学难点: 筹划班级好朋友手册的内容,并按照项目化学习的流程开展学习,从页面内容、页面设计、页面效果三个维度评价同伴的作品。教学过程Step 1 Lead-in Have students talk about their best friend. Have students read the title of Project 1 and answer the following question. What is the main task of Project 1 Have students think about how to carry out a project. Step 2 Planning Have students guess the meaning of the word “booklet” according to its word formation. Have students brainstorm what makes a good booklet. Have students discuss what a booklet includes. Have students list some topics about their best friends that can be included in the content page. Have students organize their ideas by answering a list of questions and finish 1 of A on page 62. Step 3 Preparation Have students work in groups, discussing and deciding on the content of their page. Have students brainstorm and list some useful expressions they have learnt in Module 1 to have rich language for the writing. Have students prepare all the materials and tools that are needed for making a page of the booklet, such as paper, glue, and coloured pencils. Step 4 Production Have the whole class decide on the size and shape of the booklet. Have students think about the page layout of the booklet once each student gets a blank page. Have students work alone and make their page by following the steps below. Write the draft about their best friend according to the notes in 1 of A on page 62 with the help of useful expressions they have learnt in Module 1. Check the writing for grammar, spelling and punctuation mistakes. Pay attention to their handwriting while making the page. Draw a picture or take a photo of their best friend and include it in the page of the booklet. Add pictures and use colour and lines to make the page attractive. Step 5 Presentation Have students work in groups and take turns to introduce their best friend to group members. Have the whole class take a gallery walk and enjoy other students’ works. Step 6 Evaluation Have students share what they like about the other students’ pages.
