通过本课时学习,学生能够: 初步认识和了解生活中常见的DIY活动; 从对话中获取制作纸玫瑰花的材料和方法等信息,提取和归纳询问、描述DIY活动的词汇和语言表达; 运用相关词汇和语言表达,与同伴谈论自己想要做的手工活动,初步感知DIY活动的趣味性和创造力。
教学内容
教学重点: 列举并梳理各种日常生活中的DIY活动; 2. 在活动中熟练谈论想要做的手工活动、需要的材料和方法步骤; 3. 通过小组活动展示DIY活动材料和步骤,感受手工活动的乐趣。 教学难点: 1. 在模拟真实的语境中,学生能综合运用核心语言谈论手工活动; 2. 学生能够联系日常生活中DIY手工活动的趣味性和创造性,谈论DIY有趣的理由。
教学过程
Step 1 Warm-up and lead-in 1. 复习中西方传统节日、庆祝活动或准备的手工及食物; 2. 了解hands-on activities的含义,列举生活中其他DIY手工活动。 Step 2 Hands-on activities 1. Watch and match 引导学生看图片,完成Part A练习,匹配图片和相应手工活动,识记常见手工活动名称及相关表达; 2. Listen and talk 通过听力练习,设置听力理解表格,了解Millie和Suzy谈话中的“做什么”(what)、“用什么做”(tools)、“如何做”(steps) 三大块重要内容,提取归纳关键信息。 Step 3 Doing hands-on activities Tools for hands-on activities 以做纸玫瑰为例,鼓励学生操练句式“I need ... to...”,补充其他手工活动工具,并设置刷墙、制作贺卡、修理自行车、做饼干等情境加以练习,熟悉DIY活动所需要的各种工具或材料。 Steps for hands-on activities 以制作纸玫瑰中步骤为例,简单利用如First,next,then,finally等连词将信息组织好,培养学生的整体语篇意识,并通过煮意大利面、做月饼等真实语境练习活动步骤。 Pair work 学生自主创建真实语境,实际操练关于手工活动的对话,重点练习DIY活动需要的工具、材料和制作步骤。 Think and discuss 提问学生手工制作是否有趣,并阐述原因,初步感知动手实践活动的趣味性和创造性,分享对于DIY活动的观点和情感。 Step 4 Leaf Prints Watch and think 观看视频Leaf Prints,思考制作过程中使用的工具、材料和步骤。 Make an interview 假设同学做“树叶拓印”,对其做一次采访,采访中包含工具材料、步骤、活动感受。 Group work 四人小组为单位分享DIY经历,在特定的语境中准确描述DIY活动和个人对于活动的观点和情感。 Step 5 Homework 1. 上网搜寻与手工活动有关的信息; 2. 利用思维导图,与同学分享DIY经历及感受。
