Recently, our class had a heated discussion about students making friends online, and opinions are divided.
Some students hold a positive attitude towards it. They think that the Internet breaks the limitations of time and space, allowing them to meet people from different regions and backgrounds. Through online communication, they can broaden their horizons, learn about diverse cultures, and even find like-minded friends. However, other students are against it. They argue that it’s hard to tell whether the information others provides on the Internet is true or not, which may lead to being cheated. Moreover, spending too much making friends online will take up time that should be used for studying or communicating with friends in real life.
In my opinion, making friends online is not completely good or bad. We can make friends online, but we must be cautious. At the same time, we should balance the time spent online and in real life. Only in this way can we enjoy the benefits of online friendship while avoiding potential risks.

It was then that a kind delivery young man noticed him and thought of the photo posted on the Internet. He sat quietly next to the boy, offering him some delicious food and water. A wave of gratefulness swept over the boy and he felt comforted by his warmth and kindness. He then asked the boy what had happened. After hearing his story, the man hugged the boy tightly and told him that everything would be okay. The delivery man convinced the boy of his mother’s love towards him and got in touch with his mother after the boy’s agreement.
Soon after, the mother arrived hurriedly. As soon as the mother saw her son, she was relieved and grateful to the kind-hearted man. She took her son in her arms, sobbing. She felt regretful and promised him that she would manage her emotions. Thanks to the helpful young man, the mother and son’s relationship grew close.
