知识点1 popular adj. 广受欢迎的；流行的
popular 是形容词，常用 popular with/among..表示“在……之中受欢迎”。

popular 还可以表示“普遍的；大众的”，强调许多人共有的。

appear 表示“出现”时的反义词是 disappear“消失”，“dis-”是否定前缀。

形容词和副词的最高级
(一)最高级的用法
1.最高级表示三者或三者以上的比较，其中有一个在某一方面超过其他几个，后面可用带有 of、in、among 的短语等来说明比较范围。In my country, July is the hottest month of the year.
在我的国家,七月是一年中最热的月份。
2.形容词的最高级前通常要加定冠词the、形容词性物主代词等限定词，而副词的最高级前可省略the.
Tony is my best friend. 托尼是我最好的朋友。
Among all the students, she runs fastest. 在所有学生之中，她跑得最快。
注意
one of.意为“……之一”，可以和最高级搭配，要注意的是其后的名词必须是可数名词的复数形式。
