Outline of American High School Life 1
1. Grades 9-12: High school typically covers four years: Freshman; Sophomore; Junior;Senior
2.School Day: Usually runs from around 7:30 or 8:00 AM to 2:30 or 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
3.School Year: Runs from late August/early September to May/June, with a long summer break (approx. 10-12 weeks). Spring Break (a week in March or April).
4.Extracurricular Activities:sports and clubs.
