Step 2 Verb-ed forms as predicatives 1. 表示主语(人和事物)的被动关系 (1) Investors were encouraged by the news. Step 3 Working out the rules 总结规则: When used as the predicative, the verb-ing or verb-ed form is connected to the subject by a linking verb.
