第二课时(Speed up)
教学目标 1.能理解、正确流利朗读Speed up版块的故事,有意识地通过模仿学习发音。(语言能力) 2.通过学习苹果树的成长过程,引导学生认识到人与自然是相互依存、互利共生的关系,提高保护植物,保护自然环境的意识并付诸行动。(文化意识) 3.能根据图片或关键词,归纳语篇的重要信息,培养善于学习、善于思考、善于观察的习惯。(思维品质) 4.能借助故事图和核心语言,讲述故事主要内容;能在学习过程中积极思考,主动解决语言习题,掌握有效的学习策略。(学习能力)
教学重点 1.能运用所学词汇及重点句型提取关键信息,梳理故事脉络; 2.能理解Speed up版块的故事并正确流利地朗读。
教学难点 能在小组内讨论植物的生长过程,并向全班分享交流。
教学过程 设计意图
Step 1 Warm up&Lead in 通过自由讨论,学生可以在轻松的氛围中表达自己的观点和想法,并为后续的教学内容做好铺垫 。
Warm up(Review) Review the words PPT呈现树的不同形态的图片,请学生快速说出对应的季节单词。 T: There are four seasons in a year. What are the four seasons Ss: Spring, summer, autumn, winter. T: You’re so great. Now, look at the picture and tell me what season it is. Are you ready Ss: ... Review the key sentences PPT出示表示四个季节的图片,学生两人一组进行对话问答: T: What’s your favourite season Can you tell me, S1 S1: I like... best. T: Good. Now work in pairs. One student asks, the other one answers. Who can try Ss: ...(A: What’s your favourite season B: I like... best.) Lead in Free talk(自由讨论) T: If you have a garden, what fruit trees will you plant Why Ss: I will plant banana trees. I love eating bananas! T: Nice idea! Anything else S2: I will plant grapes trees. There will be so many grapes and they are sweet! T: Agree with you. Anyone else S3: I will plant apple trees. Apples are good for us. (学生可用中文作答) T:Good thinkers! Fruit trees can give us fresh fruit, but they need our care to grow strong! T: Our friend wants to plant an apple tree. Now let’s have a look. 课件出示课本故事中的第一幅插图。T: Look! Li Han’s family plant an apple tree. 由此导入到本课的故事。
Step 2 Presentation&Practice 引导学生观察图片回答问题,培养学生善于思考和观察的习惯。 设置填空,帮助学生获取关键信息,加深对文本内容的理解。
Presentation PPT呈现故事第一、二部分的图片和文本,教师播放音频,学生跟读,并理解句意。 Look and say. PPT出示第三部分的图片,教师提问,学生看图回答问题。 T: Please look at the picture, then answer my questions. Q1: What season is it now Ss: It’s summer./ Summer. T: You’re right. Q2: What does Li Han like doing Ss: He likes reading under the tree.(学生可用中文作答) Let’s read. 课件呈现第三部分的内容,学生听音频跟读。 Look and say. PPT出示第四部分的图片,教师提问,学生看图回答问题。 T: Now look at this picture, then answer my questions. Q1: What season is it now Ss: It’s autumn./ Autumn. T: Great. Q2: What can you see on the tree Ss: Many red apples. Let’s read. 课件呈现第四部分的内容,学生听音频跟读。 Think and fill PPT出示故事第五部分图片及文本“It’s _______. My apple tree has warm, new ________!”让学生思考问题:What happens to the apple tree in winter 并看图完成填空。随后教师引导学生说出答案:winter;clothes。 Let’s read. 课件呈现第六部分的内容,学生听音频跟读。教师教授生词snowstorm。 PPT出示故事第七部分图片及文本“It’s _______ again. My apple tree______ again.”学生看图思考,完成填空。随后呈现答案:spring;grows。 Listen and read. PPT呈现完整故事,教师逐段讲解故事。然后播放音频,学生跟 读,教师提醒学生注意语音语调。 Watch and repeat. Practice Read again and write. 学生再次读故事,回忆故事情节,完成课本练习。随后教师请四名学生依次有感情地朗读出四个完整的句子。
Step 3 Consolidation&Extension
Work in groups. Retell the story. PPT呈现故事的七张插图,教师引导学生根据图片回忆故事内容并完整复述。 (最后教师可进行总结,想要从植物身上收获鲜花、果实,我们要付出劳动,培育和爱护植物,我们可以帮助植物成长,我们互利共生,缺一不可。)
Step 4 Summary&Homework
1.小结:师生先共同口头总结,再用PPT完整呈现。 Key words: snowstorm Key sentences: 1)It’s spring/ summer/ autumn/ winter. 2)I like autumn best. 2.作业: 1)熟读课本P42-43的课文。 2)以图画的形式记录苹果树的四季变化,并用英文简单描述。

教学 反思 本课时的故事围绕一颗苹果树的成长过程展开,故事内容中重现了本单元的重点词汇和部分句型。本堂课以看图理解、听说、表演为主。在故事的学习过程中,我通过设置问题和填空,引导学生观察图片,关注重点细节,帮助学生梳理、概括故事脉络。大部分学生都能通过已学的语言知识快速理解故事内容,并表现出较大的兴趣。但对小部分学生来说,理解和掌握每句话的意思还存在困难,老师要注意循序渐进,传授阅读技巧,方法,帮助孩子们克服心理障碍,突破自我,在英语学习上更上一层楼,并养成坚持看英语绘本的好习惯。
