教学重点 复习前面单元所学的重点词汇及核心句型。

Step 1 Warm up&Lead in 通过不同形式复习前面单元学习的重点内容,激活学生已有的语言知识。
Warm up 1. Greetings. 教师热情地和学生打招呼问好,作简单的Free talk。 2. Revision. 课件以各种形式(如图片、中文、句子翻译等)复习前面单元所学的重点词汇及句型。
Step 2 Presentation&Practice 通过仔细观察图片,激活学生的背景知识,激发兴趣,培养观察和推理能力。 教师引导学生听录音跟读对话,使学生能够充分理解对话内容,并且能以正确的语音、语调朗读对话。 通过游戏强化学生对重点词汇与现在进行时的运用。
1. Read aloud and act it out. (1)课件出示该部分的第一幅教材插图,教师引导学生先观察插图:“Look at the picture. What are the students doing What are they talking about ”预测插图中人物谈论的话题。 (2)教师播放该部分的音频内容。 T: What does Miss White say Ss: Class, how can you help your community What can you do T: Right! They are talking about how to help their communities. (3)教师第二遍播放该部分的音频内容,请学生根据听力内容完成Chen Jie、Mike及John能为社区所做的志愿活动。教师帮助学生理解词组give out(分发)的含义。 (4)Read aloud and act it out. 教师请学生听录音,利用课件呈现对话文本,提醒学生需要注意的语调、重读等,学生模仿跟读。随后请学生分角色进行扮演,教师请几组学生上台表演,鼓励加入动作表演。 2. Listen and finish the plans. (1)教师请学生分别读出两个方框中的地点词汇及表示活动的词汇。教师播放录音(2-3遍),学生完成表格;随后小组内核对答案,教师抽查反馈。 (2)学生自由讨论更喜欢上述的哪个想法,教师请几名学生回答。随后请学生谈论自己的想法及计划。 3. Look, ask and answer. 教师请学生仔细观察教材3幅图片,依次引导提问: Picture 1: What is the weather like today Which season is it What are the people wearing Picture 2: Who are they What are they like What are they doing Picture 3: Is this Binbin’s father/mother/uncle What’s his/her job 教师与一名学生示范对话,再组织学生两两结对,根据图片互相问答。 4. Look, choose and say. 课件展示图片和词汇圈(watering the plants, making the bed, sweeping the floor, singing songs, playing football...),教师示范:“In picture 1, Chen Jie is giving out some posters. Mike is cleaning the board. John is playing football.” 学生以小组为单位,用词汇描述图片内容,开展 “小组接龙说” 比赛(每组依次说一个句子,不可重复),其中人物名字已经给出。
Step 3 Consolidation&Extension 通过阅读获取信息,再通过交流输出,提升读写与口语综合能力。
1. Read, write and talk. (1)课件出示教材插图,教师请学生看图片并描述图片中的人物及活动。 (2)教师播放录音,请学生仔细听录音并回答问题: Q1: Where does Binbin’s family often help (His family often helps at the children’s centre.) Q2: Who helps the children (Binbin’s father, mother, uncle, his sister Xinxin and Wu Binbin.) 教师帮助学生理解词组“the children’s centre”的含义。 (3)学生自主阅读短文,然后完成表格(填写家人职业及常做的事)。 (4)小组内交流:“How does your family help your community ” 教师引导学生表达(如“My mother is a teacher. She helps kids with homework.”)。教师邀请3-4组学生分享,教师给予鼓励性评价。 2. Listen and chant. (1)教师请学生阅读歌谣部分的内容,找出分别含有字母组合“th”“ch”“sh”“ph”“ck”“wh”的单词,随后学生大声读出这些单词,复习其发音规律。 (2)课件出示Listen and chant部分的内容,学生先跟读句子,教师 帮助学生理解歌谣大意。随后播放音频,学生跟随歌谣吟唱。 3. How can you help your community Make a plan. 1. 课件出示思维导图模板(中心为 “Let’s help!”,分支为what to do, what to wear, where to go, what weather, when to go)。 2. 学生独立填写思维导图,再在小组内分享计划,如:“I want to go to the old people’s home. I’ll wear my sports clothes. I’ll go there this Sunday. The weather will be sunny. I’ll help them do chores and tell stories.” 3. 每组推选最佳计划在全班展示,教师点评并强调 “帮助社区的意义”。
