A display board 是本单元的综合性产出,要求学生围绕话题great inventions及与之相关的三个子话题,制作一块展板,介绍一项发明。注意使用本单元核心词汇与语法。
语篇11:
文本分析
What:文本是介绍一项古今中外发明创造的展板,内容包括发明的名称、遇到什么问题(因此有此发明)、解决问题的措施、发明家的简介、发明的材质和工作原理。
Why:学生通过制作发明展板,可以学习有关发明创造的知识并进行整理,从而激发自身好奇心的同时拓展知识面,提升逻辑思维能力和分类汇总能力;通过团队合作,学生之间可以集思广益,互相学习,了解更多有趣的发明创造。
How:结合本单元所学三个子话题,从人类如何遇到问题解决问题到发明家的品质尤其是好奇心的重要性等角度出发,帮助学生学习相关知识并灵活运用所学语言知识,同时增长科学历史知识。
学生在学习完本课内容后,能够:
1. 结合本单元所学三个子话题,从人类如何遇到问题解决问题到发明家的品质尤其是好奇心的重要性等角度出发,确定一项发明并梳理介绍提纲。
2. 使用正确流畅的语言,尽量运用本单元所学核心词汇和语法,完成介绍一项发明的若干文段。
3. 通过小组讨论和分工,完成查阅资料、确定发明、设计布局、撰写文段等步骤,最终制作一块发明介绍展板。
