What is the meaning of the sentence from Confucius
Learning without thinking is of no use; thinking without learning is harmful.
学而不思则罔;思而不学则殆。
只学习却不思考,就会迷茫;只思考却不学习,就会精神疲倦而无所得。
1. 人称代词 (personal pronouns)
(1) 主格
单独使用时,he,she,it与is搭配使用,you与are搭配使用,I与am搭配使用而任何两个人称代词并列作主语时,均表示复数意义,与 are 连用。
He and I are cousins. 我和他是堂兄弟。
人称代词有表人、表物以及性别之分I,you,he,she,we 都表示人,it 常表示物,they可表示人,也可表示物;I, you, we, they既可表示男性也可表示女性,但he 只表示男性,she 只表示女性。
(2) 宾格
人称代词的宾格常在动词或介词后作宾语。
Please give me the book.请给我那本书。(动词的宾语)

“Why aren't you writing,Wang Han ”
I looked up at Ms Chen.My eyes met hers. My mouth felt dry.
But then I thought about the meaning of the sentence. I put up my hand.
“Ms Chen,there's a mistake,” I said. “That sentence is from Confucius, not from Mencius.”
“Well done,Wang Han. In fact, this is my first lesson for all of you. You are now in junior high school. Learning will be more difficult. It's important to think more in your learning. Please always remember this.”
That’s really an important lesson!

polite 此次为形容词,意为“有礼貌的,客气的”。
常用固定搭配:be polite to sb 对某人有礼貌。
其反义词为:impolite.
eg: You should be friendly, polite and helpful. 你应该友好,有礼貌,乐于助人。。
