Look at the two pictures and compare the two schools. Use the words to help you.

In the first picture, there are several people and a traditional blackboard in the classroom. The teacher is writing on the blackboard and the students are sitting in their seats. They are likely to use paper books for studies. The overall setting is quite conventional (传统的;常规的).
In the second picture, a modern teaching method is shown. The teacher is using a large screen instead of a blackboard. There may be some advanced teaching machines. The way of teaching seems more technology-based compared to the first one.

1 In her diary, on 17 May 2157, Margie wrote: “Today, Tommy found a real book!”
2 It was a very old book. They turned the old, yellow pages. It was strange to read the words. They stood still on the pages, instead of moving across a screen.
3 “What a waste!” said Tommy. “When you finish the book, you just throw it away, I guess. Our television screen must have a million books on it! I wouldn't throw it away.”
4 Margie asked, “What's the book about ”
5 “School.”

Margie's school in 2157 was different from the old schools. Her classroom was right next to her bedroom. Her teacher was a machine. The machine could give lessons, such as a maths lesson mentioned in the passage. It had a screen and an opening for Margie to put in her homework.
4 What were Margie's thoughts about the old schools
Margie thinks the old schools are fun. The kids could laugh and shout in the playground. They could sit together in the classroom and go home together after school. And the teachers were people. She thinks the students must have loved schools in the old days.

句中三个about 用法一致,表示动作的主题或范围。write about 意为“关于……(话题)进行写作”,

I believe that people's life will be more digital in 50 years' time. With the development of technology, digital devices will play a more important role in our daily life.
People will use smart devices for almost everything. Robots will do all the chores and help us manage schedules at home. Schools will use virtual reality(虚拟现实)for lessons, allowing students to “visit” historic sites or “explore” space.
In my opinion, such changes will have both advantages and disadvantages. On the one hand, it will make life convenient; but on the other hand, people may become lazy and spend less time on face- to-face communication. Overall, it will depend on how we balance digital devices and real - life connections.
