During the English Week, our school holds lots of activities, including a handwriting competition, a story-telling competition and an English show. All the teachers and students take part in them actively.
The handwriting competition is for the students in Grade 7. Most of us can’t write very
well. However, we are very careful when we are writing. In the competition, we usually copy some articles from books or newspapers and then make them beautiful with pictures in different colours. This September, I got first prize in this competition!
The story-telling competition is for the students in higher grades, such as Grade 8 and
Grade 9. They usually have a very good imagination(想象力)，so they get interested in this activity. At the end of the competition, they share their ideas on these stories.
The most important event is the English show at the end of the English Week. The
students and teachers sing a lot of English songs and put on some famous English plays. We give wonderful performances(表演) and we all enjoy them so much.
