教学重难点 结合所听内容，理解形容词和副词比较级所表达的比较关系。 理解并熟练运用形容词和副词的比较级及其表达句型来进行人物对比。
学情分析 学生对本课内容的对话场景比较熟悉，是学生学校生活中经历的音乐节。对话中人物较多，涉及各人物之间的比较，学生听判信息的能力有限，对英语中的比较理解可能存在一定难度，需要层层引导。

Step 1：Lead in Lead into the topic of the unit. T asks Ss to look at the opening page of this unit, then have a think and answer questions. What’s the possible relationship between the girls What do they have in common How are they different from each other Students observe the pictures, discuss the similarities and differences, and be introduced to the unit topic. Use AI to animate the pictures and search for real-life photos of them.
Step 2：Presentation Vocabulary Introduction. The teacher guides students to observe the adjectives that are antonyms of each other among the vocabulary presented in the previous step, such as "tall" and "short", and then asks students to complete the antonym matching in Activity 1a. Afterwards, the teacher and students check the answers together. Students learn and understand the opposites to have a better description of differences. Students use a sentence with opposites to describe one of his or her friends.
Step 3：Listening 1.Listen to the conversations and answer questions. Conversation 1: ①. Who are the speakers ②. What are they talking about ③. Where do you think the conversation take place At the music club or at the music festival Conversation 2: ①.How many speakers are there Who's the woman ②. Break down the listening content into several questions, so that students can focus on the contexts of the two dialogues while listening. And students can find out the key information easily. Listen to the recording to finish the sentences. Listen to the recording to find out the features of each person. Students answer the questions with complete sentences to practice comparative degrees. Summarize the sentence patterns of comparative degrees by reading the recording.
Step 4：Thinking and speaking 1.The teacher guides students to discuss and summarize the connotation of the listening text. We all know that no one is perfect. We all have shortcomings. For example, Chen Jie is shyer than Peter. Peter doesn't work as hard as Chen Jie. But they worked together and did a wonderful job at the music festival. Can you tell me why they are better together Can you use your own words to explain it 2.Summarize the sentence patterns of the comparatives. Guide students to understand that only through cooperation can we achieve win-win results.
作业设计 基础：After class, discuss with your classmate and compare yourselves in three aspects: looks, personality, and abilities. Think of 2 sentences for each, write them down, and share them in the next lesson. 拓展：Create a video to introduce the differences and similarities between you and your sisters/brothers or classmates. 教学反思 本节听说课目标明确，重难点突出，教学活动循序渐进。教学“听-说-读-写”结合，对学生进行大量的语言输入和语言输出。引导学生归纳总结，可以以更多的方式训练学生对目标语言的运用。
