To Vote or Not to Vote
Recently a survey has been made about whether to vote or not. About 60% of my class are in favor of Internet voting. For them, online voting makes no difference from ordinary voting events,in which candidates go around to seek supports. Additionally, the Internet makes surveying and voting convenient, regardless of time and space, and makes instant feedback possible.
However, 40% of the students believe online voting makes them feel annoyed, not because they hate voting, but because they are tormented between emotion and fairness.
As for me, online voting is a new way to participate in public life and should be welcomed. Things will turn for the better if we can work out some participation rules for people to obey.

Recently a survey has been made about whether to use animals for science or not. Opinions are divided. About 48% of my class say that it is unacceptable to use animals for science, for higher-level animals share with us feelings, thoughts and behaviors, and we should treat them well.
However, 52% of the students hold that we have no more alternatives but to use animals in scientific experiments to provide us a better life. When it is either them or us to be used to test a drug, it is better to use animals.
As far as I am concerned, as long as the results of the research are explicit and valuable,the research is acceptable.

Will the Newspaper Die or Not
Recently, our class has had a heated discussion about whether the newspaper will die or not. Some believe it will finally disappear because of the widespread of new media. Social networks such as Micro-blog, WeChat, have made it possible for anyone to share what is on their mind and have someone around the world read it almost instantly. Fewer and fewer people read newspaper now. Besides, abandon of the newspaper will do good to environment.

Handwashing is one of the best ways to keep us healthy and avoid getting sick. If we don't wash our hands, the germs which can make people sick can be spread from one person to another. Therefore, it is essential for us to form the good habit of handwashing, especially during times such as when preparing food, before eating, and after using the bathroom. Besides, we also need to learn how to wash our hands the right way. Recently, I have conducted a survey about how often students in our school do housework,the results of which are presented in the pie chart. As can be seen from the chart, half of the students don't do any housework at all and only 15% students often do housework. The rest 35%students do housework occasionally. Facing the serious problem, the famous website Net Ease have carried out a survey to the students’ eyesight recently, which display s the percentage of shortsighted students is rising all the way from primary school to university.

Middle School Students’ Extracurricular Reading
Recently we conducted a survey of 2,000 junior and senior students in order to learn more about their reading habits. We found 37 percent of middle school students read fewer than 5 books per year. With regard to the reading material, it was shown that junior students preferred cartoon magazines and joke books whereas senior students preferred popular novels, classic works and science fictions. As for why students read so little, some of the junior students said they had no interests in reading while some of the senior students complained that they had no time to read because they had too much homework to do.
The findings suggest we should encourage students to do more reading and set aside more time for them to read after class.

Dear Robert,
I was so pleased to hear from you and I'm writing to answer your question about the mobile payment in China. It has really become a way of life over the past five years. When I go out, I only need to bring my cell phone and my key. It's so convenient that I can buy almost everything simply by scanning with my smart phone.
However, the apparent disadvantage is that we are so dependent on our cell phones. If I lost or broke my phone by accident, it would be a disaster and cause much trouble.
It's a good trend, though, I think. We are living life at our fingertips!
