教学目标
1.能够结合图片、录音、动画等,理解每个人在外貌、性格、能力等方面都有独特之处。 2.能够听、说、读、写lovely、young、clever、hard-working等描述人物特点的单词,并能够运用句型“What’s he/she like He’s/She’s ...”“Is he/she ... Yes, he/she is. No, he/she isn’t.”就某人的特点进行问答。 3.能够参考范例完成补全两首韵诗的活动,能描述自己和朋友的独特之处。
教学重难点
教学重难点 听、说、读、写lovely、young、clever、hard-working等描述人物特点的单词,并运用句型“What’s he/she like He’s/She’s ...”“Is he/she ... Yes, he/she is. No, he/she isn’t.”就某人的特点进行问答。
教学过程
教学环节 主要师生活动
导入 复习导入,激活已学知识 (1)Listen and sing 教师播放开篇页的Listen and sing的歌曲,请学生跟唱,复习巩固A部分的核心句型。 (2)Think and say 教师提问学生“Can you introduce your friend ”。教师可以在课件中提供语言支架,请学生根据语言支架介绍自己的朋友。
呈现与 操练 1.利用Let’s learn的情境开展单词教学 (1)Look and say 教师首先在课件中出示陈杰的图片并向学生提问“What’s Chen Jie like ”,学生可以通过图片来回答“She is cute.”等。接下来教师逐一出示Let’s learn中的四幅图片并提问“What’s Chen Jie like ”,引导学生观察图片,并尝试说出每幅图片对应的内容。教师根据学生所说的内容逐个板书并教学核心词,引导学生关注单词的音、形、义。遇到学生学过的拼读规则时,可以引导学生尝试使用拼读规则拼读单词。 (2)Listen and talk 教师播放Let’s learn中对话的录音。学生结对使用核心句型和核心词完成看图问答的续编教材Oliver和Amy的对话。教师可以鼓励学生运用更多学过的描述性语言丰富表达的内容,如“She is helpful. She often helps her parents at home.”。 2.操练单词的音、形、义 (1)Listen and repeat 教师播放录音,请学生模仿跟读单词,建立音形联系。 (2)Listen and find out 教师再次播放录音,请学生快速找到单词卡片中对应的词,正确认读单词。同时引导学生根据实际情况,说出哪些同班同学具备这些特点,如“Xiao Min is hard-working. Li Hua is lovely.”等。
巩固与 拓展 1.完成Read, write and say活动 (1)Listen, read and say 教师请学生朗读韵诗并提问“Why is Chen Jie different ”,学生可以根据韵诗中的内容回答。 (2)Think and write 教师向学生发放描述人物特点的单词清单,请学生描述自己的一位特别的朋友,完成中间的韵诗填空。 (3)Write and read 教师在课件中展示与Let’s learn相关的描述人物的语言支架,学生可以结对描述自己的特别之处,完成最后一首韵诗。同伴之间朗读分享。之后,可以根据评价表完成自我评价,如:句子首字母是否大写、单词和句子书写是否正确与工整等。
课后作业 1.课后听录音,模仿并朗读Let’s learn的单词和句子,注意语音、语调要正确。 2.写出身边分别具有lovely、clever、young和hard-working特点的人,例如“My sister is lovely. She always smiles!”。
