1.能够结合图片、录音、动画等,获取关于机器人Robin的信息,了解其能力与特长。 2.能够听、说、读、写jump rope、play the piano、play Chinese chess、make robots等有关能力的词组,并能够运用句型“Can he/she ... Yes, he/she can. No, he/she can’t.”询问某人的能力并作答。 3.能够完成画图补全句子并介绍自己设计的机器人的活动,描述其外貌、能力等特征。
教学重难点
教学重难点 听、说、读、写jump rope、play the piano、play Chinese chess、make robots等有关能力的词组,运用句型“Can he/she ... Yes, he/she can. No, he/she can’t.”询问某人的能力并作答。
教学过程
教学环节 主要师生活动
导入 自由问答,激活已学知识 Ask and answer 教师利用课件呈现一幅学校科技节或艺术节的图片,并向学生提问“What can you do for the festival ”,学生思考并回答。教师可以继续通过“Can you ... ”追问,以此来复习已学词句。
呈现与 操练 1.利用Let’s learn的情境开展单词教学 (1)Look and guess 教师利用课件呈现Let’s learn的四幅插图,隐去文字,并向学生介绍“This is Binbin’s robot, Robin.”,引导学生观察图中机器人所做的事情。教师提问“What can Robin do ”,学生合理猜测并回答。 (2)Look and learn 教师逐一出示与插图搭配的句子,学生在这个过程中学习体会与能力有关的核心词组jump rope、play the piano、play Chinese chess、make robots。教师根据学生所说的内容逐个板书并教学核心词组,引导学生关注单词的音、形、义。 (3)Listen and talk 教师播放Let’s learn中对话的录音。学生两人一组,使用核心句型和核心词组仿照示例进行对话。教师也可以鼓励学生使用学习过的核心句型“What is Robin like He has a round head. His arms and legs are thin. He is clever.”等,对机器人的外貌及特征有更多思考,从而丰富表达,体会个体独特性。 2.开展“你来做,我来猜”的游戏,操练词汇的音和义 Game time 学生结对,一人为表演者,一人为猜词者。表演者根据教师所提供的图片做动作,猜词者在规定时间内说出单词或词组,可得1分。如果还能使用核心句型造句,可得2分。每轮结束后,两人互换角色,得分高的小组获胜。
巩固与 拓展 1.完成Draw, write and say的活动 (1)Look and read 教师在黑板上画一个简易机器人,边画边用核心句型和以前学过的句型填空描述,如“This is my robot. It is blue and tall. It has two arms. It can sing. But it can’t swim.”。引导学生跟读,让学生在这个过程中体会每个句子的表述内容和has/can/can’t的用法。 (2)Draw and introduce your robot 教师向学生提问“If you have a robot, what is your robot like Draw a picture about it. What can it do ”。学生初步尝试口头回答问题,并画出自己的机器人。教师通过课件展示Draw, write and say的语言支架,引导学生根据支架,使用准确而恰当的语言,写出描述机器人的句子。同伴之间互相展示绘画作品,并介绍自己的机器人,教师巡视并指导学生的发音。教师可以提供评价标准,供学生互评使用。评价可以从介绍的完整性——是否使用了支架中的五个句子;创意设计——机器人是否有独特的特点;口语表达——发音是否清晰等方面进行。教师还可以选取部分同学上台向全班展示并介绍自己的机器人。 2.完成Project步骤1和步骤2 Listen and write 教师总结上一步骤学生的成果“Robin is Binbin’s robot and also his friend. Everyone has friends. What do you know about Sarah, John, Chen Jie and Mike’s friends Let’s listen.”。 学生先观察教材Project步骤1的插图,猜测一下他们是谁的朋友,描述每个人擅长做的事情,然后完成步骤1和步骤2,巩固所学核心词汇。
课后作业 1.听录音,模仿并朗读Let’s learn的句子和词组。 2.完成Project步骤3制作友人相簿的任务。
