1.能够通过看图、听录音、看动画等,获取关于Oliver的国籍、身高、兴趣爱好等基本信息,能够理解对话大意,理解每个人都有独特之处。 2.能够听、说、读、写核心句型“What’s he/she like ”“Is he/she good at ... Yes, he/she is. No, he/she isn’t.”,运用核心句型针对他人的外貌、性格和能力等特点进行问答和描述。 3.能够按照正确的语音、语调朗读所学对话,感知句子中的重读和连读。 4.能够完成“猜一猜”游戏,就外貌、兴趣爱好和能力进行问答与描述。
教学重难点
教学重难点 学习运用“What’s he/she like ”“Is he/she good at ... Yes, he/she is. No, he/she isn’t.”对他人的外貌、性格和能力等特点进行问答和描述。
教学过程
教学环节 主要师生活动
导入 利用开篇页歌曲引入A部分的主题 (1)Listen and sing 教师首先播放开篇页的Listen and sing的歌曲并提问“What is the song about ”,引入单元主题“个体的独特性”。 (2)Think and answer 教师呈现单元问题“What makes us different ”,引导学生回顾三、四年级学过的描述朋友的词句,思考并讨论,尝试回答问题。教师归纳和分类学生的答案为外貌(appearance)、性格(personality)、能力(ability)、爱好(hobby)等,为单元内容学习作铺垫。 (3)Think, tell and guess 教师请学生结合开篇页的Think, tell and guess中的思维导图来介绍一名学生,并让其他人猜测名字,引入A部分的对话教学。
呈现与 操练 1.利用听力活动引入对话教学 (1)Listen and think 教师播放Let’s talk第一部分陈杰和Mike对话的录音,并提问“What are they talking about ”,进而引导学生完成此部分判断正误的活动并核对答案。 (2)Look and say 教师利用课件呈现Let’s talk的插图,先请学生关注插图中的男生,并提问“Who is he What can he do ”,请学生根据插图信息预测对话内容。 2.呈现完整对话,处理对话细节 Listen and say 教师播放对话录音,引导学生听录音核对预测的内容并了解对话大意。教师第二次播放录音并提问“What is he like ”,引导学生关注对话细节,带领学生尝试使用对话中的核心语言回答“He is tall and strong. He is good at football. He can run very fast.”。教师继续提问“Oliver is good at football and he can run very fast. What can he be ”,引导学生说出“He can be a football player.”。教师随后追问“But Oliver can’t speak Chinese. Will Zhang Peng help him ”,引导学生说出张鹏将会教Oliver中文,进而启发学生:同学之间需要团结友爱、互相帮助。 3.操练并表演对话 (1)Listen and repeat 教师请学生听录音或观看动画,并在对话文本中标记出学生需要关注的语调和连读内容,如:have a、name is、good at等,请学生模仿跟读。 (2)Role-play 教师布置角色扮演的任务,请学生分角色表演对话。学生可先结对练习,然后在全班表演。教师可组织学生从发音的准确性、语言运用的正确性和表演的生动性等方面进行互相评价。
巩固与 拓展 利用Play a guessing game活动创编对话 (1)Look and guess 教师通过课件呈现Play a guessing game的部分,向学生解释游戏方式,并与一名学生进行示范。 (2)Play a guessing game 教师可以组织学生结对开展游戏。之后,教师可以请一名学生来到教室前面进行描述,由其他学生通过提问尝试猜出这名学生所描述的同学的名字。
课后作业 1.课后听录音,按照正确的语音、语调朗读Let’s talk的对话。 2.复习开篇页Listen and sing的歌曲,跟录音学唱歌曲。
