由特殊疑问词who(人物)、where(地点)、when(时间)、what(事件)、 why(原因)、how(方式)引导的特殊疑问句来提问文章的细节。
What can you learn from the passage / What would the writer say in this passage
why Because, to do, for, since, as, in order to
In 1948./On September 19, 2004
In the park
how 形容词(提问感受偏多)、by doing、with……
How long For, since,如:For two years
How far Five minutes’ walk……
I think he/she …/We need to be …/I can learn … from him/her
B. 5Wh 疑问词必须圈划(who, what, when, why, where, how)
As a boy, like all other boys, I wanted to be a man. But my parents did everything for me. Actually, they managed every minute of my life. Although they loved me, I felt a bit unhappy with them. "Zheng Chenyu, do your homework!" "Practise playing the piano!" "Turn off the TV!"I became so bored with their orders that I wished they would leave me alone.Well, my wish came true! Although my parents were very worried about leaving me, they had to go away on business for a few days. Now was my chance. I could have some fun at last. As soon as I got home from school the first day, I happily threw my schoolbag on the sofa and ate lots of snacks. Then I enjoyed an exciting film on TV, and after that I played computer games so much that I played until midnight.
The next morning I woke up late. I had to hurry to school without breakfast, but I was still late. The teacher asked me for my homework , but I could not hand it in . With an empty stomach, I was unable to play basketball with my classmates. I felt tired and sleepy at school all day long.
When I got home, I tried to cook some rice, but I burnt it. I even dropped my father's cup when I was cooking ! I found myself so bad at simple cooking tasks. I started to feel lonely. I wanted Mum and Dad to come home soon. Mum cooked such delicious food, and made sure I never forgot my homework. Dad always helped me with any difficult questions, and told funny jokes when I was unhappy. Then I realised being home alone was not always perfect.
When my parents came home, they were happy to find that I could cook and tidy up now. I told them my home alone story, and we all laughed.

A few days ago, I ran into a stranger as he passed by. I said sorry to him, and he said, “Excuse me too. I wasn’t even noticing you.” We were very polite, this stranger and I. Then we went on our ways after saying goodbye.
Later in the kitchen at home, as I cooked our meal, my daughter Betty walked up to me, very quietly. When I turned around, I nearly knocked her down. “Get out of the way!” I shouted angrily. She ran away, crying.
That night, when I lay in bed, my husband said to me, “You were so rude to Betty. Go and check the kitchen floor, and you’ll find some flowers there. Betty brought those for you. She picked them herself—pink, yellow, and your favourite blue.”
When I heard this, I thought deeply, “While meeting with a stranger, I was calm and polite, but with my daughter, I was not patient.” I felt sad and tears began to fall.
I quietly went to Betty’s bed, “My dear,” I said, “are these the flowers you picked for me ” She smiled, “I found them by the tree. I knew you’d like them, especially the blue.” I said, “I am so sorry that I treated (对待) you that way today.” And she whispered (悄声说), “Mommy, that’s okay—I still love you anyway.” I kissed her and said, “I love you too and I do love the flowers.”
