Dear David,
Learning about your keen interest in the activity themed “Getting to Know the Plants Around Us”, I am writing to offer a brief introduction.
This activity was launched/organized by the Students’ Union in order to enrich our campus life.As scheduled, we were given a presentation first by a knowledgeable professor about how to identify various plants depending on their characteristics. After the introduction, we were divided into several groups to set out to explore a garden. Then, it was a fun and creative way to get hands-on experience by planting seeds and tending to the garden. At the end of the activity, we collected some maple leaves as a reminder for our magic journey.
We thought highly of this activity. Through the activity, not only did we have a better understanding of plants around us but it also provided us with a precious opportunity to relieve our pressure from heavy schoolwork.
