Task 2 Advice Column
I always feel angry or frustrated even when I create one single problem, or even if it isn't a problem and seems so to me. I tried explaining all my little problems hoping that would solve everything. I want to be a bit more relaxed, like all the other kids my age. I even got a nickname "old man" by my best friend. I can never relax and my shoulders always end up really, really, tense. And they're always hunched up like I'm scared or something. Right now too. What can I do to just relax and not take everything so seriously

if引导的条件状语从句(2)
条件状语从句表示主句动作发生的条件。由if (如果)引导的条件状语从句表示假如有从句的动作发生就会有主句的动作发生。
e.g. If you ask me, I will help you.
如果你请我帮忙，我会帮你的。
If he does not work hard, he will fail his exams.
如果他不努力，考试就要不及格了。
if从句用一般现在时，主句用一般将来时。

if 引导的条件状语从句可直接放在主句后面，也可以放在句首。放在句首时，要用逗号将从句和主句隔开。
e.g. He may come with us if he arrives in time.
如果他来得及时，就可以和我们一道去。
If Helen doesn’t get up early, she may miss the train.
如果Helen没有早点起床，她可能会错过火车。
if从句用一般现在时，主句用情态动词+动词原形。

e.g. If you study harder, you must pass the exam.
= Study harder, and you must pass the exam.
再努力一点，你一定会通过考试的。
If you don’t hurry up, you’ll miss the early bus.
= Hurry up, or you’ll miss the early bus.
快点，否则你会错过早班车的。
“祈使句 + and / or + 简单句”是一个固定结构，其中的祈使句相当于一个由if引导的条件状语从句。其中and表示句意顺承，or则表示转折，意为“否则”。

Advice columns have been used since the eighteenth century. In the past, advice columns could mainly be found in magazines or newspapers. Readers could send letters to the columnist to get expert advice. Nowadays, websites and blogs online are much more popular. People can post their questions or problems online and get answers quickly. Anyone can start an advice blog about any topic, like travel, lifestyle, money, health, relationships or parenting. Most of the time, people will not reveal their names, and will use special email addresses. This makes advice blogs very popular, as the persons seeking advice can ask embarrassing or difficult questions without revealing their identity.
