although / though与but通常不能同时使用，但可以和yet， still同时使用。
e.g. Although the sun was shining, it wasn’t very warm.
=The sun was shining, but it wasn’t very warm.
虽然阳光灿烂，但是并不怎么暖和。
Although he is very old, (yet) he is quite strong.
尽管他上了年纪，身体还很强壮。
结果状语从句
so…that… 如此……以致于…… 引导结果状语从句
so后跟形容词或副词，表示程度，that后接从句表示这一程度千万的影响或结果。
e.g. Alan walked so fast that No one could catch him.
艾伦走得如此快，没人赶得上他。
It is so expensive a restaurant that I have never been there.
这家餐厅如此贵，我从来没去过。

1.结果状语从句
so…that…结构的意思是“太……以致于……”。so后面接形容词或副词表示程度，that后接从句表示这一程度造成的影响或结果。
eg. This story is so interesting that I want to read it again.
