Mr. Green, a 50-year-old man from London, had an old, broken shed in his backyard. Last summer, he decided to fix it himself instead of paying someone to do it.
First, he went to a DIY store to buy new wood, nails, and paint. Then, he spent weekends taking down the rotten parts, cutting new wood to fit, and putting the shed back together. He even painted it his favorite blue color and added small shelves for his gardening tools.
