Dear Edward,
I'm thrilled to hear about your event on traditional Chinese sports. I highly recommend Tai
Chi, an ancient martial art that emphasizes balance, fluid movements, and inner harmony.
Tai Chi is ideal for beginners, as it requires no special equipment and accommodates all
fitness levels. Its slow, gentle motions not only enhance flexibility and coordination but also
cultivate mental tranquility, making it particularly appealing to foreigners seeking both exercise
and relaxation. Moreover, as an embodiment of Chinese philosophy, Tai Chi offers profound
cultural insights.
I hope this suggestion proves helpful.Best wishes for a successful event!
Yours,
Li Hua
大作文
She waved me over with seriousness that left no room for hesitation. She pulled me aside, her
eyes welling with disappointment. “Laughing at someone's struggle isn't funny," she said
seriously. “Imagine if you couldn't express yourself. How would you feel " I stared at my shoes,
cheeks burning. She explained that the boy was unable to speak fluently ,but he didn’t want to
be like this. As I listened, memories of my own insecurities flashed: the time when I had trouble
speaking in front of the class, and struggled to tie my shoelaces. Guilt flooded me. “Everyone
deserves kindness,"Mom concluded, placing a gentle hand on my shoulder. I nodded,
determined to make an apology to him.
With trembling steps, I approached the boy and gave him an awkward hug. “I'm sorry , ” I
whispered. His eyes widened in surprise, then softened. Hesitantly, he hugged back. To break the
ice, I asked if he liked hide-and-seek.His face lit up, and though he spoke slowly, he eagerly
joined our game. By sunset, we were laughing as we chased each other across the grassland.
That day taught me a lifelong lesson: true friendship thrives when we accept others' differences.
Whether it's a speech obstacle or something else, kindness and respect build bridges that
laughter alone can't cross.
