I.语言点精讲
1.音节的概念:
(1)一个单词的音标中有几个元音音素就有几个音节。
(2)一个音节叫单音节,两个音节叫双音节,三个或三个以上的音节叫多音节。
e.g. 单音节:/bed/ /zip/ /sit/ 双音节: /'i zi/ /h ' l / /'fa /
多音节: /'bju t fl/ / nt 'n ( )n( )l/
(3)/m/ /n/ /l/ 在后面没有元音音素的情况下也能和前面的辅音构成一个音节,叫做自成音节。
e.g. /l/: little /'l t( )l/ bottle /'b t( )l/ /n/: cotton /'k t( )n/ lesson /'les( )n/
/m/: socialism /'s l z( )m/ symbolism /'s mb l z( )m/
2. 怎么去划分音节?
(1)按单词音标划分(最简单但不全面)
① 单音节音标的划分多为:辅+元+辅
e.g. got /ɡ t/ date /de t/
② 双音节和多音节的音标划分为:“辅+元”或“辅+元+辅”
e.g. better /'bet / behind /b 'ha nd/
(2)按单词字母划分(比较难但全面)
口诀:一靠后,二分手,多个中间偏左右。
组合字母算一个,常见组合要遵守。
①一靠后:当两个元音字母之间有一个辅音字母时,一般把它划分给后面的音节当头。e.g. ago→a/go / 'ɡ /→/ /'ɡ / water→wa/ter /'w :t /→/'w :/t /
②二分手:当两个元音字母之间有两个辅音字母时,一般把他们分开,一边一个。 e.g. doctor→doc/tor /'d kt /→/'d k/t /
number→num/ber /'n mb /→/'n m/b /
③多个中间偏左右:当两个元音字母中间,有三个以上的辅音字母时,中间的辅音字母要么划分给前面的音节当尾,要么划分给后面的音节当头。
e.g. improve →im/prove / m'pru:v/ →/ m/'pru:v/
transport →tran/sport /tr n'sp :t/→ /tr n/'sp :t/
④组合字母算一个:指的是一些字母组合后固定发一个音(常见的是双元音和“双辅音”),在划分音节时一般被当成一个字母看待。
e.g. retry→re/try /ri 'tra /→/ri /'tra / other→o/ther /' /→/' / /
⑤常见组合要遵守:英语里有一些字母常常组合在一起,但它们不像固定组合字母那样发一个音,而是各发各的音,如pr,pl,fr,cl,sp,st,sk,scr,gr等等,这类组合字母在划分音节时一般不拆开,把它们划分在一起,尊重它们的常见组合习惯。
e.g. present→pre/sent /preznt/→/pre/znt/ student →stu/dent /'stju d( )nt/→/'stju /d( )nt/
3.重音的读法
①重音:在单词的音标中,如果在某个音标前的上方见到“ ' ”这个符号,如/d 'be t/,这就是重音符号。这个符号指的是从其后的音节开始全部使用降调(接近汉语拼音第四声),而在重音前的的音节,要使用升调(接近汉语拼音第一声)。 eg:/ri'tra / /h 'l / /b 'ha nd/
注意:若无重音符号标注,则意味着从第一个音标开始就往下压声调
②次重音:在单词的音标中,如果在某个音标前的下方见到“ ”这个符号,如decode / di 'k d/,这就是次重音符号。这个符号指的是从其后的音节开始全部使用升调(接近汉语拼音第一声),直到遇到重音符号才开始降调(接近汉语拼音第四声)
eg:examination / g z m 'ne ( )n/ congratulations /k n gr tj 'le ( )ns/
4.Is there…in this school 这所学校有…吗?
Is/Are there…
“Is/Are there… ” be动词要与后面的主语保持一致,其肯定回答
是 “Yes, there is/are.”, 否定回答是“No, there isn’t/aren’t”,
表示某地某时存在有某人或某物。
—这附近有花园吗?
Is there a garden near here
—是的,有。Yes, there is.
—会议室里有人吗?
Are there any people in the meeting room
—不,没有。
No, there aren’t.
5.in front of 在……前面
【易混辨析】in front of 与 in the front of
in front of, 在物体外部的前面,
There is a cat in front of the car. 这辆汽车的前面有一只猫。
in the front of, 在物体内部的前面
The driver is in the front of the car.司机在汽车的前面。
across adv. & prep. 过;穿过
across既可作副词又可作介词,across from意为“在……对面”, 相当于 opposite。
The library is across from the shop.= The library is opposite the shop
图书馆在商店的对面。
这个公园在酒店的正对面。
This park is just across from the hotel.
(2)across作介词时,常与walk, go, run等动词搭配使用。
(介词) 在……对面;横过
Let's go across the river!咱们过河吧!
(3)〔副词) 从一边到另一边;横过

2. 怎么去划分音节?
(1)按单词音标划分(最简单但不全面)
① 单音节音标的划分多为:辅+元+辅
e.g. got /ɡ t/ date /de t/
② 双音节和多音节的音标划分为:“辅+元”或“辅+元+辅”
e.g. better /'bet / behind /b 'ha nd/
(2)按单词字母划分(比较难但全面)
口诀:一靠后,二分手,多个中间偏左右。
组合字母算一个,常见组合要遵守。
①一靠后:当两个元音字母之间有一个辅音字母时,一般把它划分给后面的音节当头。e.g. ago→a/go / 'ɡ /→/ /'ɡ /
water→wa/ter /'w :t /→/'w :/t /
②二分手:当两个元音字母之间有两个辅音字母时,一般把他们分开,一边一个。 e.g. doctor→doc/tor /'d kt /→/'d k/t /

③多个中间偏左右:当两个元音字母中间,有三个以上的辅音字母时,中间的辅音字母要么划分给前面的音节当尾,要么划分给后面的音节当头。
e.g. improve →im/prove / m'pru:v/ →/ m/'pru:v/

④组合字母算一个:指的是一些字母组合后固定发一个音(常见的是双元音和“双辅音”),在划分音节时一般被当成一个字母看待。

⑤常见组合要遵守:英语里有一些字母常常组合在一起,但它们不像固定组合字母那样发一个音,而是各发各的音,如pr,pl,fr,cl,sp,st,sk,scr,gr等等,这类组合字母在划分音节时一般不拆开,把它们划分在一起,尊重它们的常见组合习惯。

①重音:在单词的音标中,如果在某个音标前的上方见到“ ' ”这个符号,如/d 'be t/,这就是重音符号。这个符号指的是从其后的音节开始全部使用降调(接近汉语拼音第四声),而在重音前的的音节,要使用升调(接近汉语拼音第一声)。 eg:/ri'tra / /h 'l / /b 'ha nd/
注意:若无重音符号标注,则意味着从第一个音标开始就往下压声调
