别贪多:哪怕只排除 2 个 “没主题词” 的未选选项,剩下 5 个蒙,也比瞎蒙 7 个稳;
不纠结:如果一个选项有主题词,但看不懂意思,优先选它(比没主题词的对的概率高);
Directions: Read the following passage. Fill in each blank with a suitable sentence from the list below. There are two extra sentences that you do not need to use.
“The Problem of Plastic Pollution in Our Oceans”
Plastic pollution has become one of the most pressing environmental issues. Every year, vast amounts of plastic waste end up in the oceans, causing severe harm to marine ecosystems. ________ (1) ________ This not only threatens wildlife but also affects human health through the food chain. Fortunately, there are ways we can all help to reduce this problem.
________ (2) ________ These items are used for only a moment but can persist in the environment for centuries. ________ (3) ________ Simple changes in our daily habits can make a significant difference.
________ (4) ________ This reduces the demand for new plastic production. Additionally, opting for products with minimal packaging is another effective strategy.
________ (5) ________ By making these conscious choices, we can collectively contribute to a healthier planet.
A. To begin with, single-use plastic items like bottles and bags are a major source of pollution.
B. For example, you can bring your own shopping bag instead of accepting a plastic one.
C. Similarly, air pollution caused by factories is another serious environmental issue.
D. Furthermore, scientists are developing new types of biodegradable materials to replace plastic.
E. In contrast, many people still ignore the problem and continue to use plastic products daily.
F. A recent study found that millions of sea animals die each year from mistaking plastic for food.
G. Ultimately, government policies play a decisive role in controlling industrial waste.
文章核心主题:Plastic pollution(塑料污染),其harm(危害)和solutions(解决措施)。
C. (...air pollution...):
G. (...government policies...):
Directions: Read the following passage. Fill in each blank with a suitable sentence from the list below. There are two extra sentences that you do not need to use.
“The Power of Solitude”
In our hyper-connected world, the idea of spending time alone is often misunderstood. However, voluntary solitude is not about loneliness; it's about creating space for oneself. ________ (1) ________ It allows us to process our thoughts and feelings without external influence.
________ (2) ________ This practice can lead to greater self-awareness and emotional regulation. Moreover, solitude can be a powerful catalyst for creativity. ________ (3) ________ Without distractions, the mind is free to explore, imagine, and innovate.
________ (4) ________ It's important to distinguish between the two. The former is a positive choice, while the latter is an unwanted state of isolation. ________ (5) ________ Whether it's a quiet walk, a few minutes of meditation, or simply disconnecting from digital devices, making time for oneself is a valuable investment in well-being.
A. Firstly, solitude provides a valuable opportunity for self-reflection and understanding one's own emotions.
B. For instance, many great artists and writers seek isolation to focus on their creative work.
C. However, prolonged loneliness can have negative effects, which is different from chosen solitude.
D. Moreover, social activities are crucial for developing communication skills and building relationships.
E. In today's world, the pressure to be constantly connected online is a common source of stress.
F. Therefore, scheduling regular periods of alone time can be a purposeful and rewarding practice.
G. A survey conducted among CEOs showed that over 70% value teamwork above all else.
文章核心主题:Solitude(独处)的benefits(益处),及其与loneliness(孤独感)的区别。
正确选项应为A, B, C, F。
D. (...social activities...):
E. (...pressure to be connected...):
Thank you!
