Margie's school in 2157 was different from the old schools. Her classroom was right next to her bedroom.Her teacher was a machine. The machine could give lessons,such as a maths lesson mentioned in the passage. It had a screen and an opening for Margie to put in her homework.
Margie thinks the old schools are fun. The kidscould laugh and shout in the playground. They couldsit together in the classroom and go home together afterschool. And the teachers were people. She thinks thestudents must have loved schools in the old days.
1In her diary, on 17 May 2157, Margie wrote:“Today, Tommy found a real book!”

“It's+adj.+to do sth.” 句型的用法

“It's+adj.+to do sth.”意为“做某事是……的。”
it作形式主语,真正的主语是后面的动词不定式(短语)。
因动词不定式(短语)作主语较长,而谓语部分相对较短,用it代替后就避免了“头重脚轻”的现象。
