I experienced the Naadam Festival in China’s Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region for the first time this year. The festival falls on the fourth day of the sixth month of the lunar calendar, usually lasting for three days. Naadam means “games” in Mongolian, and it is represented by three events: horse racing, wrestling, and archery, which are all so exciting to watch!

Dear Mr. Brown,
I am more than delighted to learn that you show great interest in Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival. Now I’m writing to tell you something about it in detail.
The Mid-Autumn Festival falls on the 15th of the eighth month of our Chinese lunar calendar. As one of the traditional Chinese festivals, it has been enjoying great popularity for its celebration of family reunion. Usually, No matter how far away or how busy we are, we will try to come home for the festival. With the beautiful moon up in the sky, we sit together and eat mooncakes and fruit, sharing our stories. In addition to these traditional activities, we have a wider range of choices such as travelling and visiting our relatives or friends.
I’m looking forward to your arrival and joining me in experiencing it together.
Yours,
Li Hua
