教材简析 What 主题意义&主要内容 本课是一节对话词汇融合课，本课时属于本单元的Part B部分，主要围绕着子任务“What wild animals do you know ”展开，教材先通过Miss White带领几个学生一起去动物园，观察野生动物的场景呈现重点句型，接着学生向Miss White询问动物园里近处和远处的动物是什么，Miss White边观察边回答动物的名称. How 文体结构&语言特点 本语篇围绕“Great animals”主题展开，教材结合图片、音频和视频观看活动了解语篇内容，学生能够运用本节课的核心语言What’s this/that It’s ...询问及回答近处或远处的动物和物品，引导学生爱护动物，把动物当成自己的朋友进行相处 Why 语篇意图&语篇价值 本节课的内容属于小学生日常对话，通过对上节课的复习导入，引出本节课的话题，学习语篇内容，感知核心句型What’s this/that It’s ...,然后通过不同形式的朗读，角色扮演，复述巩固核心语言，最后通过Play with hand shadows一起做关于动物的游戏，了解我们的动物朋友，拓展语言的同时还可以培养学生爱护动物，了解动物的情感。
教学目标 语言知识目标: 能在图片和文本语境的帮助下，听懂、会说、会认核心词汇和句型， 在教师的帮助下，分角色表演对话( 程度好的学生可以尝试丰富语言内容) 思维能力目标： 能运用句型“What's this/that It’s a ...”，就不认识的动物进行询问，或对他人的询问予以回答等， 能够在听录音或看动画时模仿说话者的语音、语调; 文化品格目标： 通过场景转向室外，谈论的内容由宠物延伸到动物园动物，引导学生进一步思考动物们的不同之处。 通过游戏和小组合作等活动，学会与他人合作学习的能力 3.了解英语的语言表达，体会不同的语言魅力，促进心智发展 学习能力目标： 能够通过听录音、看图、看动画，获取、梳理对话中在动物园谈论看到动物的情境;能够理解对话大意。 能够听、说、认读核心句型“What's this/that It’s a ...”，就不认识的动物进行询问，或对他人的询问予以回答。。 3.能完成Play with hand shadows.部分,能够运用所学句型及恰当的手势问答等

融境 Digesting Knowledge 融入情境，学习语言 新知呈现 Knowledge cores Presentation：播放talk部分动画， 学生先模仿跟读， 了解大概文意。 Presentation：展示图片， 提出问题What do they see 他们看到什么？ Presentation：T: Look, it’s a fox! Read after me, fox, fox, it’s a fox.教师拿出fox的单词卡片贴在黑板上，边提问边板书句型：“– What’s this – It’s a ...”。教师讲解句子意思，强调this的用法 Presentation：继续呈现图片T: Look, they see another animal. What’s that Do you know T: It’s a red panda! Read after me, red panda, red panda, it’s a red panda. Wow, it’s a red panda. 教师拿出red panda的单词卡片贴在黑板上离自己较远的位置，用夸张的动作遥指red panda的卡片问：“What’s that ”并板书句型，让学生理解“What’s that ”和“What’s this ”的区别 引导学生积极参与互动和交流，学生能主动分享个人对该主题已有的知识、经验，教师根据需要调整提问教师观察学生完成任务的积极性和准确性，并及时予以指导和反馈，以评估此活动的有效度
境中操练 Knowledge drills Language point：1. Let’s +动词原形. 2. What’s this 3. What’s that 及对应的回答等 Presentation：播放talk部分动画， 模仿跟读 Presentation：分解呈现对话文本， 音频跟读， 模仿语音语调， 理解课文， 对课文中的生难词和重点句型进行讲解等. Listen and imitate：播放音频， 学生模仿跟读， 注意语音语调， 发音准确。 Good memory： 根据课文, 说出句子 小组合作 教师创设情境，观察学生对此情境的兴趣和参与度。 更好的掌握新授内容
