special
adj.特别的;特殊的
例句: He prepared a special dinner for her birthday.

2. There is another blackboard at the back of the classroom. 在教室的后面还有一块黑板。
1) at the back of在……的后面（侧重于物体内部的靠后位置）。
如:We sat at the back of the class.我们坐在全班的后面。
behind 侧重于一个物体外部的后面。
There is a big tree behind the house. 在房子的后面有一棵大树。
2) another, other, the other, others, the others
another泛指(三者或三者以上中的)另一个，可接单数可数名词。如:
This glass is broken. Get me another.这个杯子坏了，给我另拿一个来。( 在许多杯子中的一个)

the other 一定范围内或两个人(物)中，特指剩下的“另一个”用the other(可接单数可数名词)，特指“剩下的那些”，用the other+复数可数名词。如:
I have two brothers. One is a doctor, the other is a teacher.我有两个哥哥，一个是医生，另一个是教师。
the others表示在一个范围内的其他全部，用the others=the other+复数可数名词。
This dictionary is better than the others /the other dictionaries.这本字典比其他的好。
others指别的人或物时，即当在一定范围内，除去一部分后，剩余部分但不是全部时，也用others。如: .
Some cleaned the windows, others swept the floor.有的擦窗户，有的扫地。
3.we put up important notices there. 我们在那里张贴重要通知。
1) put up意思是“举起;张贴; 搭建”。如:
We put up a tent on the farm last night.昨天晚上我们在农场搭建一个帐篷。

2) important adj. 重要的
be important to sb.对某人来说是重要的
it is important(for sb. )to do sth. （对某人来说)做某事是重要的
Enough sleep is important to us.充足的睡眠对我们来说很重要。
It is an important meeting. 这是一次重要的会议。
It's important to remember that everybody is different.

作为可数名词，Notice通常指贴在显眼处供人阅读的信息。
There is a notice on the office gate saying “No Parking”.
