For the past eighteen years of my life, I’ve always celebrated the Mid-Autumn Festival with my family. Our way of celebrating is sitting together after dinner to share mooncakes. As simple as it is, it gives us a chance to relax and enjoy being together. However, this will be the first year that I’ll spend the Mid-Autumn Festival away from them.

Introducing myself used to mean stating my name, age, and hometown. But as I grow older, I realize that such facts are just the cover of a book; they don’t reveal the story inside. My name is Wang Lei, and this is a glimpse into the more complex picture of who I am.
